A college in heaven of earth

Yeah The college is situated at the bank of lakes. Dal lake is just behind the college. And the negatives are we don't enjoy much college life like we don't go to watch cinemas cause there are no cinema halls.

Entrance Exam

The course curriculum is very Excellent, it's latest updated in 2013. We study Basic engineering in 1st and 2nd semester. In the first semester, we have to study only 1 subject of civil engineering that is Engineering drawing and in 2nd semester Strength of materials.

The placements are also excellent the overall 60-70% students are placed in MNC's PSU. And this year our one alumnus achieved a 34th rank in ESE examination. And the highest placement is 74lpa till now.

SC/ST and <1lakh income 3100(tution fee) 1-5lakh income 21k approx >5 income 72k approx And the hostel fee is 1650 for everyone Mess fee & laundry fee 17k All fees are applicable per semester. Overall the all fees are cheap in the view of other colleges.

Yeah! A scholarship is provided by the college in which they choose some students who are not able to pay their fees. And there are lots of schemes where we can submit our application forms like NSP and UP Scholarships.

Extracurricular is very good. We have a site visit in the mid-semester. Labs are well equipped and full of the latest equipment. The workshop is also in the college as Central workshop. A library is also in college with a lot of books.

Hostel infrastructure is also excellent. Each hostel has a fast internet connection which gives the speed up to 72mbps. And 24 hours of electricity. There's a recreation hall in which we can play table Tanis and GYM also. There are 1-4 badminton courts in each hostel. In the college have a playground, cricket ground. Basketballs courts.

Yeah, the almuni network is just increasing day by day. We have alumunus like Sonam Wangchuk, Vikash Chawda. Seniors are also good. They are very helpful they guide us and provide some study materials to us.

Firstly we have to give an exam of 30 marks in the mid-semester, in this exam we have to solve 3 questions and each of 10 marks. Then We have to give End semester exam that'll of 60 marks, in this, we have to solve 4 questions out of 5. Each is of 15 marks. And 10marks for the internal assessment.

Firstly I have given JEE mains and after that, I enrolled for the JOSSA counseling, after that I visited NIT Srinagar for the reporting, and then I had submitted my documents there and I finally got the admission there.

There three types of faculty there. First is the permanent faculty, which is the best faculty. They teach very smoothly and in a structured way. They will all the doubts about the topics. Second contractual faculty are also the good faculty. Third Ph.D. Schoolers they also take sometimes our classes but they are not as good as the experienced are.
