Remarks

The facilities can be improved considering the students and their program. Also, the office staffs need to be kind enough to talk with students and take their feedback into consideration. This will help in communicating more efficiently.

Entrance Exam

Internships Opportunities

Yes. They have just started providing internships to selective students and a batch of internship companies provide internship to the students. They provide a stipend of up to 10000 In and also provide certificates on completion

Placement Experience

3

The placement rate was mentioned 100% before I started my program. But then I saw only about 50-60% of people got jobs after graduation. It was the people who found off-campus jobs and the college used to show 100% placements.

College Events

2.5

The events were held in the month of either January or February which marked the period of fests. There used to be a sports event, some engineering related stuff and days were celebrated. Also, there was an on-stage event day which was there.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure was the same as per the other engineering colleges. It was about 1 lac per year and the fees used to increase by about 6-8% per year which was in equal to the other engineering college.

Fees and Financial Aid

There were scholarships provided for the minority castes which was provided by the data organization. No scholarships were provided by the college. The general people had to pay the whole fees and were without any scholarship.

Campus Life

2

There are labs which are present for all the branches of students from which computer labs were the best. Sports were not promoted to a great extent in the college but students used to bring medals by working on their own.

Hostel Facilities

2

This was the poorest area I would say. The infrastructure only had one building which had no campus present. There was an indoor games room which was open at specific timings for different batches of people.

Alumni/Alumna

The seniors are quite helpful and they were an instance when they were given opportunities to speak in front of us. There were many organizations which were run by the seniors in which they motivated us a lot.

Exam Structure

The exam structure is as per Mumbai university. We have exams every 6 months and a total of 2 semesters per year. Also, we have two term tests during the 6 month period which were useful in semester examinations.

Faculty

4.5

The faculty was supportive during the teaching period. Also, they were educated enough to know the in-depth of the subject which helped us solve all our doubts and know the subject in detail without any doubt.

The campus placement is decent in the college as compare to other colleges of the city . many companies visited the college every year to hire the skillful engineers from the college and offer them a good amount of package. The option of the offcampus palcement is also there for the students of the other colleges.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Soo ever since kid i was interested in bikes this interest was all for me to take this course , my father is very bike enthusiast and it came down to me , i could easily take mechanical and other engineering cause these are common courses which involves automobile , but since i wanted to follow my passion , i wanted to do specialization in automobile itself and DPCOE was offering this course with great facilities and knowledge providing us a path in this lane of career in this field. According to me curriculum prepares us quite well as they conduct workshop which are relevant to outside world where we'll be working. If there were more practical workshops for us to work on would be great cause automobile engineering is all about practicals rather than theoroticals Professor should try teaching in physical part rather than taking lectures and explaining the concept by just words

Yes there is placement cell of STES which is no different than other tier 3 engineering colleges offering a tier 3 average package depending on who is the recruiter. Students become eligible for campus from 3rd year of their degree. Highest package is something around 55 lakhs offered to a computer engineering student, and average is just like I said for a tier 3 college 5-6 lakhs(above or below). Almost everyone gets placed in the company but some might not.
