Course Curriculum Overview

4

The most specific aspesct was that it was BBA Regular and no other specializing and we could choose the specialisation in the final year when we have gained enough know about the subject and are good enough to make a decision. The curriculum really helps us learning the outside world rather than only bookish knowledge. We are given case studies to solve, role play to enact a situation and are take to Industrial visits to see and understand how the real world is going on and to take a gasp of it. The y could include more practical subjects instead of theory in some terms. The exams taken are good enough and we get enough time to study and the question pattern everything are discussed beforehand with the teachers.

Campus Life

The most awaiting fest is Culah. It is known as the queen of fests and is held around the months for January to March. Participants from different Colleges all over the city come and Participate in the fest. The next is Carpediem which is the management fest . It is organized by the Business Management Association of the college in the month of February to March. Events like Business , marketing, HR etc are held The next is the Hindi and the Sanskrit fest that is held in the month of September where we see the blend of cultures and tradiions. Other than fests we have our sports going on in an regular basis. We have sports day in the month of August-September where competitions of different sports events are being held. The next we have is NCC and NSS camps and Associations carried in the college along with the Art and Decor Association and Fashion team. These Associations helps the students alot to overcome their fear of expressing and help them socialize and build their profile.

Admission

I applied to Christ University along with Mount Carmel College for my course BBA. I did not chose CU as i found that the rules and regulations there were pretty harsh and strict as compared to MCC and I wanted a nore Flexible College with decent rules so that the students could enjoy along with studies. No I didn't get rejection from other College I applied to i preferred MCC over the other Colleges. The admission process of our college is first we have to go through a written test then the shortlisted students get into the interview round and further selections are done according to their performance. Also the 10th and 12th marks carry a lot of importance. There a criteria below which the students do not gwt admission. My admission experience was quiet smooth and the faculty helped me regarding everything and the process.

Faculty

4.5

The faculty to students ratio is pretty good as there are enough teachers dor every class and every batches to go for. Also the teacher student relationship is quite good in terms of female teachers as it is a girls college. My favorite teacher is Nikitha Mam . I like her and appreciate her so much as she is so warm and welcoming and engages everyone in the class and listens to every student. I get to learn so much from her and do look at her as a role model. There are certain teacher which i not like much because of their way of teaching and explaining and their perspective towards us and the world. In total we have 3 exams in 1 semester. First one is Internal exams for 30 marks held in college. The next is 2nd CIA for 30 marks held online and we get assignments for 20 marks in each subject. Next there are end semester examinations which comprises of 60 marks in total. Other than that we have our CEE and SEC courses for which we give exams.

Other Applied Colleges

Placement Experience:

I have not yet attended any of the placement scenario, so I cannot say much about the placements. I also do not know correctly about the percentage of students placed. There are various companies that come to our campus for interviews. There are around 40-50 companies that are welcomed. Some of them are Infosys, Wipro, TCS, HCL, HP, and so on. The average package can roughly be like Rs. 2.5 lakh per annum.
