Course Curriculum Overview

1.5

My course contains the knowledge of advance anatomy, USG, X ray, CT, MRI machines which influenced me to choose this course as it is in high demands these days. The University curriculum does not provide enough knowledge to the students neither in theory not in practical. They can add advanced anatomy, and a theoretical knowledge of CT and MRI for atleast a semester each. They can upgrade the lab facilities. Mid semester are taken after 2 months from the start of the semester and end semester is taken after 2 months of mid semester.

Internships Opportunities

0.5

There is not much hope for good internship in this college as it doesn't not have much connections with companies. My seniors have yet to get internship which is concerning as they have passed 3-4 months ago.

Fees and Financial Aid

We have to pay 3 lakhs in total, giving 44000 per semester. There are various scholarships for students to apply. All the students of Allied Health Science Department have to pay the same amount. Considering my admission year is 2022 the fees structure can vary.

Campus Life

1.5

There are a few annual festivals held by this college , diwali festival is the most loved by the students. Books and journals are free to read, , it has one month time for re- borrow or return , if not done then fine is asked to pay. They still have a lot to upgrade regarding facilities and technical provisions . Extra curricular activities are encouraged in this university. There are few clubs here and there but not that effective.

Hostel Facilities

4

There is a bed , chair and desk per student and we have to share the other half of cupboard with our roommate/s. They give meal 4 times per day. The quality of the food is not good tho. Registeration process for hostel is easy and affordable, they only ask for few important documents. My hostel is situated in one of the best locality as everything a student needs are available nearby.

Admission

I applied to various colleges of Mumbai and Pune but choose this college as they promised to provide better practical knowledge as well as better placement offers. I choose this college over other because it providesd most of the necessity which I need as I'm from different state. Admission process was smooth and there is minimal cut off. This is no exams for entering the college.

Faculty

1

Faculty to student relations can depend on your behaviour but most of the facilities which I have been in contact with are welcoming. We are taught extra subjects for knowledge and by that experience I can faculties of immunology, Pharmacy and Psychology are best. I don't like my faculty because they don't have enough knowledge about the subjects they are assigned to and don't have much to offer. There are class tests and assignment each carrying 10 marks . There are mid sem amd end sem having 20 and 50 marks respectively. Exams are not much tough and the only students who fail are the ones who are not studying. Course curriculum is not much relevant .

Placement Experience:

People who major in my department usually opt for masters over placement not because of this college but because overall industrial or academic opportunities are better with a pg degree. Masters from this college is not recommended as i have heard so from my seniors. Some of my seniors managed to crack competitives and secure MSc seats at great places. Training and Placement cell had a good coordinator previously but now its almost non existent. Companies do come and hire Bpharm, Mpharm and MSc candidates. Packages are below average. Only Nestle pays well. But if you do well you'll eventually climb up the corportate ladder. From the time i am here i have not heard of any BSc candidate getting placed. Most go for higher studies.

Placement Experience:

The average package offered for such roles ranges between ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package offered to a BSc student is around ?4 LPA, depending on skills and specialization. Overall, around 15–20% of BSc students get placed through campus drives, and many students rely on off-campus opportunities.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is very relevant as it provides us an overall knowledge of biology and not dividing it into various sections rather giving us an insight of every aspect of biology. It includes everything such as microbiology, zoology, botany, physiology, molecular biology and so on.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum was well thought out as per me but there were subjects that i found absolutely unnecessary. Subjects like history evs and clc were in no way related to my course. Coming to the main subjects Design, Printing, Photography and film and Media Training were absolutely necessary for my course and whilst the faculty for some of these subjects were really bad, some were good. It is also important to mention none of these subjects actually helped us prepare for the real world. Instead internships and freelance helped us more than these subjects could ever do. Exams were held bi monthly to keep track of what we learnt and every 6 months we had our semester exams. Overall if you want to be a media professional INTERNSHIPS AND JOBS WILL HELP YOU MORE THAN A COLLEGE WILL. I am biased on this opinion as my college didnt provide me with the correct guidance and support i needed to make it in the real world.

Placement Experience:

In case of computer science department, placement is provided at the Last year of M.sc course. Many companies like Wipro, b10x, Tata visited here. Highest package ever is three lakh per annum. 20-40% of the students got placement after completing M.Sc computer science. My plan after B.sc is to pursue MCA.

Course Curriculum Overview:

* It's all about practical knowledge, we are getting from this course and another aspect is if you wants to make your career in research or lecturer then you should go for it. *No changes required in teaching methods but if college will provide hostel facilities and campus requirement drive, then it will better for candidates.
