Likes

The campus is really very beautiful. It just needs to improve in mess menu.
I actually kind of good in engagement and interaction with students.
The faculties expertise is really good. The method of teaching is also great.

Dislikes

In our Economics department placements are very less according to others.
In this university there is very less exposure with other colleges universities for basic workshops or skill learnings are very less.
The number of fests and other functions are very rare in this campus. Not special specification for the sports .

After the 10th class I genuinely wanted to know more about the economics and how to manage money supply and money flow in the country and many more about it . That is the reason I have choosen this course

Class Size: 37Course Fees: INR 77000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

My Tution fee 17,000, Annual fee=60,000 Caution fee = 10,000 My Batchmates with Other categories also have to pay the same amount. Scholarships reduces the semester fees of the students CGPA above 8.5 .

Campus Life

In overall experience the campus Is very beautiful and the place where it is located is also a beautiful place. But it's social aspects are less and the club involvement is very poor according to other universities, colleges

Hostel Facilities

Actually the hostels are very brilliant but the mess facilities are not that good. The food they provide sometimes seems very tasteless and for that is the only reason I kind of dislike the university.

Admission

I have decided to choose this college over other colleges because it's very close to my city and it is located at a very beautiful place from where we can see the Trikuta hills where the temple of Shree Maa Vaishno devi is located.

The faculties staff is actually very good towards the students and very helpfull towards the students who are introverts and shy in approaching the professors . There is a Prof. Dr.Pabitra.k. jena ,he is like a big brother to me and others also because of his frankness towards the students

ABOUT MY COLLEGE

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am very dumb girl and i had secured 70 percentage in 12. And i got 12 based admission in that college and i had not chosen any curriculum i was obliged to take these subjects. It do not prepares you for real world applications. It should be practical couse which includes how to make money?

Remarks:

I didn't like to share this because our locality is small. development process is very slow here,we thank for what we have, I am sure that with the passage of time everything goes good,we get more facilities.

Very well , teachers ,staff, building of college all were best in providing a platform in which students can achieve his dream.There was nothing negetive ,they didn't allow any misbehavior and not any type of drugs were allowded in college premises.

Nice and Unbiased review of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University Katra

I have applied in many colleges and I also get seat in them but the only reason I use assembly because the college is close from my home. Just because of travelling purposes I choose this college. The admission process in our college is not very difficult. The only way to get admission in the college by csab counselling and by college internal counselling.The cut off of the branch is 60 percentile for general students.
