The course curriculum is a very good one and a well planned syllabus has been there which has been taught to us which also pay stress on the practical knowledge and enhance our skills which is very good for the students and even the faculties is very good to provide the better knowledge to the students in an interesting way

Yes this college provides internship in a vast way in an it provides environment for the students to gain maximum practical knowledge hence it has contact with the main industries to give practical knowledge and internship even well furnished workshops have been in the college which provide a very good environment for the practical knowledge

This is the best college in the state which provides maximum placements for the students to seek jobs in many national and multinational companies and even good packages have been provided to the students who have been recruited by the companies

The college provides variety of events which are conducted during the whole semester by the students as well as by the management t h o s e events include Genesis cultural fest Techfest Agar technical events and other societies which indulge in performing these events and give a superb environment for the performance to the students even sports meet is there which is very good

The fee structure of our college is a feasible 16 the college is having reservation quota and provides fee waiver to the students who are in need and several NGOs provide fee waiver to the needy students and even test occurs which help to lower the fee of some students

Yes there are many scholarships and loan facilities provided by the college management to the needy students there are some test conducted by the college staff for the fee waiver add scholarships for the students even some NGOs provide fee waiver schemes for the needy students add some banks visit the college which helps the students to get the loan for easy study and education

Labs are well maintained area hygienic and clean with all the equipments present and only college in the area where with the all research material and equipments are present in the sports variety of playgrounds are there even a gymnasium is in the college campus for the betterment of the youth as per interest and all the sports material is available and well provided to the students

Hostels are average and little bit old with poor quality of toilets by the way other campus is a very good one and a fine infrastructure has been developed and even in progress which provides a very healthy and hygienic environment to the students who study there

Seniors are very good and mentors are awesome and all the alumni are well settled and even on the top pose like chief engineers senior engineers and even the owners of industries and on the top posts of some Research centres and industries and even in the government sector acquiring higher posts like electricity board

Exam structure is very good one 2 mid semester exams are conductor conducted in each semester followed by test and in the last final exams are conducted within the college and in a very strict manner without any chance of cheating or other offensive offensive activity

Admission

I got admission in this college through JEE Mains and a merit list was created related to the admissions through JEE Mains and and after that when some seats left they were given through the direct revisions admissions by the process of First Come First serve

Faculty

The faculty of my college is a very good one is it is a prestigious Institute prestigious Institute s han solo hence the the quality has been recruited very carefully and very brilliant and intelligent professor are teaching us

Likes

The infrastructure is great with state of the art labs and equipment
The library is really nice place to study
Lots of hangout spots in and around campus

Dislikes

Less opportunities for core branches as less core companies visit campus
75 percent attendance policy for classes
Very high fees compared to other colleges

Placement Experience:

Companies start coming summer internships in the 5th and 6th semester though ,CG cuts are imposed so very less students are elgible to sit for these companies, The real placement season is 7th and 8th semester and many companies visit campus for placements. around 60 percent students got placed in the recent placement drive. The major recruiters are: Oracle, CISCO, JPMC,Deloite,IBM,ZS etc.

An honest look at campus

Likes

The university boasts an excellent, massive campus infrastructure with great amenities and highly diverse student crowd provides great cultural exposure
While the engineering batches naturally leans towards more boys (around 1:3 girl to boy ratio)
Availability off dedicated campus mentorship programming and technical club provided a great platform.

Dislikes

The campus administration enforced incredibly strict security and daily restrictions which feel a little overwhelmed
The total no of students in a course like cse is massive. So the competition for the high tier placement is very intense.
If we need any information or some help from the administration they will make it lag and go to that window this window and we will not get the information ww required

Placement Experience:

Students generally become eligible for placement from 7th semester, with numerous major companies like wipro,cognizant and various tech startups visit the campus with various offers. The university sees a high percentage of students getting placed.The package are widely depending on various skill and codes. Furthermore while the highest package looks impressive on paper, the avg package remains modest for the majority of the batch. My personal plans after getting the degree focus on exploring independent entrepreneurial ventures rather than tradition corporate placement.

LPU's REVIEW WITH HONESTY AND CREDIBILITY

Likes

The Scholarship benefit is good when compared to other universities the fee is also not very huge.The Infrastructure of the campus was vast and there arelots of stall to purchase food items etc
There is a big mall through which You can get necessary items .In every hostel you will have departmental stores
The faculty was highly qualified. The Placements opportunities are also good The average was offered was 5-6 LPA.The Lpu newly Launched Education Revolution is very good for students

Dislikes

The mandatory 75% attendance policy for every subject.If you not maintain you will debar from End term examinations which is not all good
The Roads are not that much good .The roads are made of parking tiles instead of Thar
The distance between hostels and main gates are nearly 1.5 -2 km which not at all good .but there e-rickshaw they charge 15 rupees per person to drop from hostel to main gate

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course cirriculum changes every year by rapid changes happening due to AI The University has also launched a new school called School of AI and emerging technologies.from this every year syllabus changesand exams pattern changes .the difficulty of exams is increasing day by day.

The environment of the college is so nice, helpful staff, AC labs for CS deptt.
Canteen and water facilities and park in both deptts
Skilled professional educators and tutors

Dislikes

Distance of travelling coz for me its too much far
Nothing as of now everything was good enough

- Limited campus opportunities were available, and most students become eligible from the final year. - The average package was around 2-5 LPA. - after my degree my plan is to improve my employability my strengthening my technical skill in my domain

From 7th sem students become eligible for campus placements and tata or Infosys companies visited and about 60 to 70 percent students were placed and my plans after getting the degree is to opt for higher studies doing mtech from iit

Good infrastructure, campus and faculty. Have to improve placements and industrial visits.

Likes

The campus is very green and clean. Infrastructure is good and one can feel fresh air here in campus
The faculty is excellent, almost all of the professors and assistant professors have a degree from renowned institutes. So they know their subject and field very well.
Hostels are good and affordable. Although the hostels itself are old, services are good and you get a nice room for the price/rent

Dislikes

The crowd isn't good. Always demotivated to do anything productive regarding studies. Some people are just here for time-pass
Very less site and outdoor visits. For practical experience, they should conduct industrial visits, but that happens rarely
Placements are really Dry and there is decline in company visits for placement.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that good. Although companies come, there is a lack of mass recruiters or reputed organizations. One has to grind hard here for placements. If you're a CS student, you will have to face immense competition here. As for core branches, placements are severely dry. Students gets eligible in 4th year onwards for placements. Some of recruiters here are Trident, TCS, Reliance, Sonalika and other few. Every company offers around 10-15 selected students for a job. Highest package ever was 15LPA and average is 3.2LPA. Percentage placed is only around 15% here. My plans after the degree are to apply for govt exams.

The sports and the various facilities that they provide for relaxing
The Library that remains open till 10-11 at night for those who wish to study till late
Great mentors and very helpful teachers who are always willing to help

Dislikes

The hectic schedule and curriculum that the students have to follow.
The lack of certain facilities that would help the students improve thoer personalities
Too much strictness and restrictions with everything that someone wishes to do

Course Curriculum Overview:

The interest in coding influenced me to choose this subject and course. The curriculum gets me ready for a 9-5 job which kind of gets hectic. The teachers could maybe schedule classes to give the students time to study what they want to and if they wish to do a course outside the university they have the time to do so rather than just going by the university curriculum

1) I only applies to Guru nanak dev engineering college ludhiana and Lovely professional university Phagwara . For taking admission in this college you can take admission on the basis of your board exam marks. You can get admission if you have minimum 40% marks in your board exam as well. For taking admission in CSE or IT branch you should have atleast 85% or more marks scored in your board exam. If you are from home state you might get reservation benefit. In this college 85% seats are reserved for home state students and rest 15% for other students as well as for home state.
