What Students Say

Likes

Faculty is experienced and can be easily changed if facing any trouble with previous faculty
Library is full of important books which you can issue any time for a week
Infrastructure of the college is good as compared to another colleges in greater Noida

Dislikes

No. Of classes are much more than necessary and less time for self study

Placement Experience

On campus placement are present there average around 5 lpa my branch is aiml and there are many companies who visit gcet campus onwards of 6th semester you are eligible to sit on the placement both technical companies and sales company visit the college campus. Some companies like codeninja come in the campus

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees is about 1,15000 and scholarship is there but a bit hard for the general category if you get a good percentile you can get a lower branch in absolute free. There is scholarship offered is by the up government

Campus Life

3.5

Campus Life is decent there are a number of technical festivals that occured many gdsc technical fests Book in the library is accessible for 15 days and after that you have to submit them back You can also re access them again Sports such as football, cricket, basketball volleyball, table tennis, badminton are usually played in the campus.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facility is decent on ac room you will get a wall ac. Seperate wifi for each room as well as a wifi for whole hostel is provided Meal is decent each 15 days some of the items of the menu changes Registration for hostel in first year is tough because the seat usually get filled fast.

Hostel Fee: INR 125000 per year

Admission

Admission process is one of the worst things in the college. And if you are coming from direct admission then it is sure that you are not getting any specialization of cs branch even if you are getting 95

Faculty

4.5

Faculty members are highly experienced and you can change as per your problems related to the previous faculties Lab faculties are also experienced with the practical knowledge of their respective fields

Overall Feedback for College - Admission , Placement , Course , Faculty , Events

Likes

the security is nice at my college like proper cctv and guards , apart from that labs , and my dept is too good. Ac classroom and labs
They have provided average placement like most of companies are mass hiring like tcs and accenture ..and only few companies come to offer big package
Infrastructure is good but there is need of reconstruction at some places the water is ticking in rain season continuously, and curriculum is okay okay not that much relevant to industry , they taught text books rather than the real practical cases

Dislikes

The examination checking - the student who is cr or having any relation with teachers got highest marks without writing the answer properly
The food canteen first of all the canteen is off from the past 1 or 2 year and now it reopen but it sells dirty food , waste foods
The college professor support , they are not that much supportive

Course Curriculum Overview:

coding I am interested in coding that why I offer this course It provide some courses but not all courses are related to real world they have to use practical examples and make students aware of the real industry According to me the time and frequency is okay of exam

I have applied for Bihar State Nalanda college, chandi. It gave me aerospace engineering. I didn't choose that because their course curriculum with their faculties and college culture is not fit for getting placement. I wanted some placement oppurtunities through my college and GCET is suitable for it because of their location and college culture. My admission process of my college is through direct admission as well as UPTAC counselling. Direct admission is for those who have low JEE ranks and outside of UP and are early comers. Counselling is for merit based admission for UP students generally with better JEE ranks than direct admission students....Read More

I have also applied for JIIT Noida, but couldn't able to get CSE branch. However, In greater noida, comparing to other private colleges, GCET is much better option because of its location, fee structure, campus size. Admission process happened through AKTU counselling, also 15% seats researved for direct admission as well.
