Per semester fees for b.pharama is 1.2 lakhs Their is a scholarship test.. And get 3 level of scholarships.. First of 30k..sec of 24k..third of 16k .. Of you grab your seat early.. You may get more scholarship then normal

Many fest keep occurring at regular basis.. Recently "One India " Was held in which all the states of india were represented and their culture was show cased Apart from fest in evening their are regular jammings and open mic shows held which provide you to show your talent and enterain your mates. Aprt from this there are many clubs which you can join and be a part of them

Lpu provides you the atmosphere where you could never fall but always grow... They have a beautiful architecture all over the university and its amazing to stay in there.... The campus feels like home away from home.. Faculty is also good... People are also good

An In-Depth Look at Campus Life and opportunities at Chandigarh University

Likes

I think, the campus is being liked by everyone whether its staff member or a student, because the university consists of many blocks or departments and that too are named as A1, A2, A3, A4 & B1, B2, B3, B4, B5 & C1, C2, C3 & D1,D2,D3,D4,D5,D6,D7,D8
Parks and all are made for the relaxation purpose of the student
Car Parkings are available separately for the students and staff and that also inside the campus which is ambitious.

Dislikes

The semester fees and other expenses is relatively higher as compared to other institutions
Some students find the university’s rule such as strict attendance policies and accurate timings for the classes, quite stringent
Mostly 2 common times, one is in morning nearby 8.50 AM to 9.50 AM and in evening nearby 3.50 PM to 5.00 PM, the rush is like horses and buffaloes! There is so much over crowded & most of the crowd occurs by the Autos, but no one do anything for that

Course Curriculum Overview:

As i have opted the course B.Pharmacy! I rate the course as optimal, neither too bad nor too good, its medium! Now comes on teaching method, some teachers are really well and good and few are those who does not teaches but only writing writing, thats it, they will not explain at all! And one thing they should change is that All Courses except B.Pharmacy in Chandigarh University have the criteria to pass the student even below the 40% only or the half of the highest number scored by the topper in the class, and for Bpharmacy its minimum requirement to pass the exam is 50%, Oh My God! This needs to be changed, Now every year, in Bpharmacy, the overall 80% students are getting Compartments (Back/Fail) in the subjects, but the University is not understanding it all. So this should be changed as earlier!

Admission:

The eligibility criteria to get into this college is 10+2 pass with Science subjects. Admission is made through Punjab Technical University, Jalandhar followed by counseling process. I applied for the college and then got an admission offer letter directly and then went ahead with the admission procedure.

College is best and the location of the college is also good. But the teachers and the staff should be more creative to run a college. I can give 6 rating out of 10 to the college. It can be better if given more attentiveness

Experience of college life

Remarks:

Good words for the college is that the teaching faculty is very good if I see. Otherwise bad words for this college is that. Half of the classes are so big and students in the class are more than 60 so the teacher can teach properly to them.i would say to divide the students according to their marks like section-wise.

Totally it was good to be a student of here and if I have to give a remark then I will only say that I am now earning 35000 per month in a multinational company. But it's not a matter of how much you are earning its matter of education in which this college is giving its best.
