Course Curriculum Overview
The course believes in the core industry- based learning and therefore the element of surprise remains in every semester , each day doesn't feel like a rant as student gets to learn something new daily but this changes in the third year as the rate of growth slightly decreases the college somehow feels like inhibiting and forcing in its nature of sticking to the norms and course guidelines .
Placement Experience
My batch is the first batch if the university previously it was affiliated to AKTU , thus the average package is around 8.6L per annum . The university's placement cell has been working vigorously to bring companies to the campus also we are being trained for interviews and aptitude tests. The network of alumni is strong of the university so off-campus placements are also huge in number. Many fail to pass the screening as told to us my our professors so this changes of getting a placement is quite high if we get skilled.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees is all inclusive of tuition , lab etc.. the registration charges that is 30000/- was charged during the registration process. The scholarship amount is dependent on the percentage of class 12 or JEE Main score. I received 20% fee concession due to financial backward status after consultancy with the admission officer. The fee concession is applied on 120000/- while 30000/- is levied most probably as examination and lab fees. The proper breakup is not provided to us even after the fee payment . The fee throughout the course is the same as stated in the offer letter. The scholarship are continued after the first year with the criteria of attendance-80% and CGPA above 8.
Campus Life
The vice-chancellor of our university is a strong leader and thus has aspired many to start clubs. Our university has clubs for sports, social media, coding and many activities like poems etc. Frequent debates and events like aaghaz allow students to remain and improve their creativity. In-house traing also allows students to interact and make friends. Cafes are a good place to hangout we've got cafes from the likes of Chai Garam , a Scholar's cafe and box cafe each with its own menu. Each class is equipped with ACs and projectors (few classes don't have projectors). The chairs are of premium quality plastic while the desk is sturdy and made of wood .
Admission
I applied for JEE but due to health concerns couldn't make it during the time of pandemic , I took a gap of 2 years being passed out in 2020 and then continued my search for an University in 2022. Living in Greater Noida provides me with other options like Galgotia, Sharda ,NIET ,GL Bajaj but I resorted to IILM University, Greater Noida as the other options seemed saturated. Also being University with green campus allowed me to be closer to the serenity. I applied via the online registration link and was soon contacted by an admission personnel who made the registration process seamless by providing all the needed requisites and guidelines via whatsapp and 1 to 1 communication.
Faculty
The marking scheme changes as per the need of the specialized faculty. Most of the faculty members are young and are themselves involved in researches this allows for the learning environment to be more productive at times. A course in a semester is divided majorly into 5 units and mostly have 5-6 core subjects and an elective subjects. In a semester exams are held twice , sessional and end - semester exam.
