- Very interactive teachers and profs , majority of the teaching staff is Marathi
- Campus is nice and no kind of ragging takes place atleast during college hours and inside the campus
- Syllabus is comparatively easier than Mumbai University
Dislikes
- They dont provide marks of the END SEM exams so students don't know by how many marks they have failed
- Rechecking of one paper costs 1000rs and KT re exam costs 500
Course Curriculum Overview
I cannot really give you any information about the curriculum as I'm only doing this course out of my own decision I don't think they need any major kind of improvement The exams are taken normally Overall positive
Internships Opportunities
I'm still in second year and have close to none information regarding the intership and stuff BUT they do have physical interaction on how to go through interviews and teach students which is very helpful
Placement Experience
Students are eligible for placement from 7th sem Companies like google ,TCS , microsoft,LnT and many normal and big sized It's a 100% placement Biggest package so far according to what we were told was 44.5LPA I PLAN TO GET THE HIGHEST PACKAGE POSSIBLE,I JUST WANT TO EARN MONEY
Fees and Financial Aid
FIRST OF ALL DY PATIL UNIVERSITY is a private university there is no benefits available for students according to caste religion etc My course of computer engineering costs me 4Lakhs per year Total cost of 16Lakhs of 4years And extra 30k is taken for stationary,I'd card, library cards etc All students pay the same fees no benefits The only point I can mention is that as the fees is above 7.5Lakhs they provide bank student loans to people without taking mortgage of any kind but the bank provides the student loan if the applicant has good marks
Campus Life
Cultural fest HORIZON held in February Tech fest is held in May Library is great best ig Facilities are the best they have every kind of labs students would need and they are like the best possible Social group called SOW which does the NGO STUFF
Admission
I applied for IIT BOMBAY OBVIOUSLY ITS VERY HARD TO GET IN THEIR FOR MANY REASONS And I'm from open caste I don't have any benefits of low cut off I don't think I'll have to inform you about how the admission process works for any IIT
Faculty
The whole faculty is very interactive My personal favourite is DR.PRITAM WANI I don't hate any teachers Exams are easy compared to Mumbai University but students still fail in some particular subjects like maths and physics
