Course Curriculum Overview
I started liking Economics when I was in class 11th our teacher used to teach it in a very interesting way which made me choose these course. The current teacher is the same and I don't regret my decision. There are many scopes in doing BA (Economics) like banking sector, economist etc.
Fees and Financial Aid
The yearly fee is 7180 and free for BPL students. You can get computer access for free as a student but you can also take certification with a 2000 rs fee. College environment is very clean and seniors are very friendly and helpful. Staffs are also very good and you can get a scholarship of Rs 80000 named as "Ishan Uday" if your family income is less than 4 lakhs. Thank you!
Campus Life
Many cultural events, festivals are held in campus and many great artists come during the event. Library is a bit small but it has AC in it which makes us go there in our off period hehe! But ya there are many varieties of books in there you can just ask the librarian or there is a website of our college library you can also read it online. You can also join NCC and sports are also being held , there is going to be a big sports festival next week in our college.
Admission
I applied for many colleges like B. Booroah college, Cotton University, Pragjyotish college etc. My actual target was to get in Cotton University but I did not get selected according to merit list and so I took admission in Arya vidyapeeth and ya I don't regret it.??
Faculty
Every department has 4 teachers from which 1 is HOD. Teachers are very understanding and reliable, anyone can approach them in need. Our Economics department teachers are very friendly they also did dance with us in our department freshers haha! Principal sir very strict with academics and all and there is a class test once every week. In a semester there is 2 exams 1 is sessional and other is final exam or semester exam.
