Merit List

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

My course is computer science and it is one of the trending branches which many of the students opt to build their bright future. The exam structure is cbcs scheme and each subject consists of five modules and in which student can score easily.

Internships Opportunities

Placements are good and almost all the students get placed in the college itself. Most of the top companies come to our college to hire the students. Our college doesn't provide internship at present and in the future, it may provide internships.

College Events

4.5

Our college conducts many events such as sports day, CSI day, technical events and fests. Every student can participate in all events and they can win the certificates based on their wonderful performances.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure depends on which they opt. If it a cet seat the fees is less compared to the management seat. Most of the students come through cet seat and very few people come from management seat. It is feasible to pay.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarships are provided for students and even education loan is provided for those who wish to take it. Even the hostel loan can be taken by the students and they can complete their studies in the loan money itself...

Campus Life

Our college conducts many extracurricular activities such as technical fest, sports day and each and every student can participate in all the events and they can get a participation certificate. They also provide the top three prizes with the best amount.

Hostel Facilities

No...i do travel but I have seen my college hostel infrastructure which has a lot of facilities. Our college has a separate hostel for both boys and girls and the food provided in the hostel is good and valuable. Hostel rooms are spacious and it is secured by the warden.

External Expense: Rs.4000 - Rs.7000

Alumni/Alumna

The seniors are good and friendly. They support us in each and every step. They help in academics and beyond the academics. They treat us like their own siblings and friendly people. Ragging is strictly prohibited in our college.

Admission

I got this college through my cet rank and the admission process was going good. The infrastructure and the faculties were good and well experienced. The placement facility was good so I joined this college.

Faculty

My college faculties are friendly and supportive in nature. They treat the students as their own children. They guide us in each and every step and supports for academic activities and beyond the academics.

And also the campus provide all facilities and make helps to sports and ration is almost equal of boys and girls

Dislikes

Yes some things are there which I disliked first is the campus is very strict and no function are organised yearly ones or twice is very sad thing as compared to other campus
Second thing is food students facing some problem with the food which hear prepared so outsiders facing lot of problems
Third is about hostel facility is good but very strict only once a week the students should go out side and write leave letter to go there native places.

Placement Experience:

Students got opportunity to eligible after 3rd year mainly in 7th semester students get opportunity for campus interview. In my college the company which came to hire is congizent and microsoft and amezon and dell nearly 80 to 90 company are came. Insights of the Gopalan college of engineering and Management by a First Year Student

Likes

Canteen is fine has nice and tasty food and quite a lot of options
Library is also good has every book related to my course and few others as well
Lab facilities are also very nice and the college has a nice crowd

Dislikes

It's nothing like I expected, they don't let students use the ground or turfs. Facilities are pretty bad.
They charge money for everything and has zero facilities for college students. Everything is for there school students.
College is very small and the faculties are rude to students. (Mostly the case)

Placement Experience:

Student are eligible for placements from there 7th semester but I wouldn't recommend relying on college for placements. Not many companies come to this college so placements are really bad. If u have skills it would be better to apply to companies on your own. I don't have details on how many students gets placed but as much as I know it's about 30-50 % And average package is also very low. I plan of gaining skills and certification on my own and job hunting myself in 4th year through my connections and internships. Or maybe go abroad for masters As I'm a first year student I don't know much about which companies come and how much they offer.

An honest review

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I'm in 1st semester. I will update you after my exams. But one good thing is that from this year, internals and externals will hold same weightage i.e., 50/50 If you can score more than 45% in internals which wouldn't be that big of a deal because they'll ask most the questions from class notes. Most of the faculties are average I would say. But some are good professors too. I chose CSE because I find these topics interesting since junior school. And everyone is just jumping into cse is a reason too lol.
