Entrance Exam

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

course curriculum is very similar to every b.tech course The exam pattern of B.Tech is also very up to date. The model involves both internal assessments as well as written exam. The internal assignment will include projects, practical, assignments, etc. Normally 30% is allocated to this section. The rest will be for the written exam. The exam pattern varies. The latest pattern used by many institutes has objective type questions, short answers, and long answers. Also before the main exam, there will be mock exam to give the students a chance to know their knowledge levels.

Fee Structure And Facilities

it is feasible as compared to others... according to the facilities offered it is not much expensive as they offer many faculty to the students... there is also canteen in the campus...Here the fee structure is moderate it is of exactly 80000 only for the management people and the hostel fee is 70000 only and all years have the same fee structure and there would be other courses like Adobe which improves student talents and helps to get jobs to them it is of 35000only...

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes, the scholarship is provided to the merit students I have no idea about the loan that students are getting according to our college. but scholarship is good for the merit students. but if the student has the talent and has scored well he can get a scholarship from the college

Campus Life

The campus life is pretty cool no issues everyone is friendly and well-natured people. also, both girls and boys are almost equal in number.there is the playground and also basketball court, gym, indoor sports zone is also provided.debates are held every week and they are held in a very healthy and friendly manner

Hostel Facilities

The total accommodation is 1500 capacity for boys and 500 capacity for girls. The fee is INR 70,000 per annum Pgs are good, available at very cheap costs, around INR 6000 per month. College food is good. A meal costs you INR 60. The infrastructure is very good and strong.

External Expense: Rs.7000 - Rs.10000

Alumni/Alumna

the senior students of the college are also very friendly they don't try to bully their junior students and help them to be familiar with the campus some exceptions exist on every campus but overall our college senior students are very friendly...

Admission

I got admission in the school by giving entrance exams after taking prospectus from college... which took place in the college campus teachers were very friendly and I was selected in the exam as I was fully prepared and got admission in the college I wanted to be in...

Faculty

the faculty of the college is very friendly and helps the students in every situation they don't try to feel any student odd the faculty of the college are all post graduated and have at least 5 years experienced they are well aware of the study pattern and exam structure

during major events and peak hours the campus become crowded

Course Curriculum Overview:

Exploring life at Chandigarh University

Likes

Good and modern campus infrastructure. The university is large, modern with good classrooms, labs, hostels and tec.
Most teachers are knowledgeable, supportive and explain concepts clearly.
The university provides placement drives, training sessions, career guidance and etc.

Dislikes

Large student intake. Due to high number of students, sometimes it can be difficult to get individual attention from faculty.
During peak hours, some areas of the campus can be crowded.
The quality of hostel food is not much satisfying.

Placement Experience:

Placements at Chandigarh University are generally good, with students becoming eligible for campus placements in the later semesters, dependiing on their course. Many companies visit the campus for recruitment, offering roles in IT, engineering, management and other fields. The packages vary by company and profile with some students receiving high packages while others get average entry-level offers. Placement opportunities depend on student skills, academic performance and interview preparation. After completing my degree, I plan to secure a good job in my field, gain practical experience and continue developing my technical and professional skills.
