overall i think it is safe to say that the curriculum in terms of relevance and comprehensivness is good , i mean it is frequently updated and upgraded as per the industry standards and all and it is very good

the annual fees of d g vaishnav college for b.sc.computer science is exactly 63500 rs , and it comes with a cost of exam fees which is around 1800 without any arrears that is , and also the college collects a breakage fees of rs 100

Campus Life

the campus life is boring , i mean just hear me out the college claims to have a 25 acre of land but it reality it just feels just too small compared to other colleges , and it has a very small ground in which we arent allowed to play

Admission

well i have also applied to other colleges but unfourtunately, in some colleges( LOYOLA ) they need higher fee and recommendation to join in that college and also this college has comparatively less fees.

Faculty

the integrity of the faculty members was really less than i expected because it was only above average level , and also some of the faculty were under qualified than over qualified . some need to improve their communucation level

Placement Experience:

No arrears students are eligible on the college campus placement drive. Top MNC companies are visiting the campus and providing a good role and salary. There are 10+ MNC companies,15+ Startups, and 5+ core companies visiting the placement, And many students are placed the good roles with nice stipends (Look like MNC, Zoho, Wipro, TVS, etc). My plan is to place the good company with the package.

I'm mostly interested in mathematics so I choose it. The faculty is average but it is safe for girls so the student ratio will increase. The teachers are well-trained and the teaching method is like spoon-feeding. There are 6 semesters per year to conduct 2 semesters of exams. Mathematics contains five subject papers. There is no difficulty to pass it's too easy.

I choose DG vaishanvcollege for its strong academic reputation, affordable fees structure and excellent placement support especially in HR and marketing . So i applied LIBA ( Loyola institute of business management and SRM ) other than DG vaishnav college . I got acceptance from DGVC and SRM and i got regected from LIBA . I chose DGVC as it has affordable fees of 4 lakhs in total , also they are giving duel specialisations, also its affilated to university of madras , placement support and location advantage. I got rejection from liba as the cut off was not clear as my percentile was below 80 as the cut of was 85 plus. The admission process was quiet simple for DGVC as the - 1. Eligibility to apply was min 60 % in Bachelor degree 2. TANCET exam was preffed we have to submit the application through online portal of DGVC. I put admission in Loyola College, Chennai in which I got B.A.History, but I joined Dg Vaishnav College due to pre payment of the fees in the month of July itself.
