Remarks

I will recommend this college. Now they have improved a lot in college (placement, infrastructure, teachers, co-curricular actives). It's not a top college around that region. But for localities, it's made for them.

Merit List

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

It's actually good, but not bad. Since I m a mechanical engineer, it's was up to some mark. When it comes to other branches it's was better. In mechanical they let us do an internship which they are conducted in college. College used to take us to the industrial visit.

Internships Opportunities

Yes, a company Expert Hub was called to our college. It's basically for all the branch students. I took part in the 3rd year. It's was a 1 week course, where we worked in workshops. And we were made a team of 4 members work together on a project to present at the end of the internship. At last, they will select a good project presented.

Placement Experience

3

When I was in college, their were 3 to 4 companies that came to our college for placement. But 85% of Computer student got placed during campus placement. Even mechanical students were allowed to sit for other companies.

College Events

4

Very less events were celebrated in college but in hostel almost all the events were celebrated very year. College fest is the only one event that is celebrated in college grandly. Also every branch was given permission to celebrate their respective branch feat.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Some it is a private college, fee was too high. We used to pay both govt. seat fees and private college fees. Hostel fees was too much. But they give the students time to pay the remaining fees. College fees was too much

Fees and Financial Aid

From a college point of view, they will not provide any scholarships to students. Backward class students will get scholarships from the government. Scholarships are for every year. Scholarships from the government help the students very much. Karepass was the scholarship.

Campus Life

2.5

The one thing I liked very much about his college is its extracurricular activities. Every year they will conduct a college fest call VERVE, which is one of the top fests in Bangalore. It's 3 days event, where all the students actively take part and make this event successful. When it comes to sports, it's up to mark.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

The hostel is the best. The infrastructure is better. They will provide all types of facilities for students. They allow 3 students in the room. The food was good. The hostel has a gym, TV room, sports room, playground, dining hall, wifi facilities.

Alumni/Alumna

No, no one is helpful to us. Senior are close with us to some level but after they leave they didn't help us with anything. When it comes to alumni it's taken far. So seniors were never there for us to help or support.

Exam Structure

It was good. In each semester 3 internals has to give. In that 2 internals should be compulsory to attend. And final exams were decided by the VTU University Belgaum. Internal marks are very important for final exams. Out of 100 marks in each subject, 20 marks were an average of 3 internal marks. And remaining marks depend on final exams.

Admission

I wrote Common Entrance Test in 2012, and I got 13475 rank. The college is private. Through my CET ranking I applied for this college. And I got government seat in JSSATE Bangalore college. So I got admission in private college with govt.seat.

Faculty

3

As in my branch, some teachers are very good, interactive, and supportive. And some teachers are not worth at all. Compared to other branches in our college, our teachers are friendly with students. They are very supportive

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum is a mix of both Computer Science and AIML which is increasingly relevant in today's world. Second year: Subjects like Mathematics for AIML, Data Structures, Stats for Data Science, Computer Networks, Third year: DBMS, ANN, ML operations Some other elevtives are also available and courses like Universal Human Values, POME, EIPR etc. Honestly, POME, EIPR, UHV should have less course credits and probably MCQ type exams (like IC and Yoga in first year). Curriculum is good and updating for applications helped along with projects. Exams are generally once in a month, 1.5 - 2 units for each subject each exam. Lab exams at the very end before CIE marks finalization. Then 2 weeks gap for Lab SEE, then 1 week gap and actual SEE's.

Placement Experience:

KSIT has an average placement rate of 70%-85% depending on the branch . CSE,ISE and ECE branches have higher placements while mechanical and civil have fewer opportunities in IT sector . Average package is about 4-6LPA . KSIT attracts many IT based recruitiers with some core companies for non -IT branches . It also provides pre-placement training, coding boot cams, aptitude tests and soft skills development . Alumni network is moderate, but students need off-campus efforts for high paying jobs
