    PLACEMENT WING

The placement was a good experience because in the first interview itself I got selected for Child Rights Trust, Bengaluru.

  • ADMISSION

The first step of the admission is students need to apply online and counseling will be conducted in the Bengaluru university. Later the students will be allotted seats in the different colleges. The above mentioned is for the university quota and for the management quota the students can come to college and get the admission done. But I belong to the university quota.

The fun I had!

Placement -

Companies like Viacom 18, Edelman India, Ad factors were some of the few I remember which placed up students. I got into Viacom 18 with a package of 4 lakhs pa. The highest package the student got was 8 lakhs pa.

Course Curriculum -

The course was pretty good, very knowledgeable. I took an MA in Philosophy and Humanities. I aced the class each year and loved the content they have to study.

Dealing with the upcoming trends

Remarks -

The college washrooms needs to be improved otherwise all the things are satisfactory. The PG departments should be little more in focus.

I'm currently pursuing Masters in economics and I wanted to get into Data Analytics and in my course they teach us all the new Softwares that are there in this sector like R, SQL, Hadoob, Spss, Excel, Python. We are getting all the experiences with the real world data so that we are ready for the corporates. So I think I got the best option in College.

If education is fun, this campus justifies it.

Remarks -

Attendance is an issue. 85% or you end up in big trouble! Management is strict but looking back, they ought to have been like this the admin staff is horrible! You may regret talking to them.

After completing my undergrads from St Stephen's College, Delhi University, I was looking out for options across the country to pursue my higher studies, I had two courses in mind, a Masters in Social Work or a post grad degree in English. Christ University had a good combination of offering English with communication studies which makes the subject far more interesting. A post grads from Christ University gives you good exposure to world literature and other genres. The professors were great fu...

Getting a New Pair of Eyes

Remarks -

Very bureaucratic administration. It can do more to integrate Humanities with Sciences and medicine since the latter two are its biggest attractions for most students.

There was no entrance exam. Had to submit a Statement of Purpose to get considered for the admission. The entire process was online. I chose this course and college because their methodology was unlike others in India. The stress was/is on research and hence no final exams, only 8000 word research papers (genuine ones).
