Course Curriculum Overview
Since this is engeneering college and we are here to be engeneers and here we also learn coding and core concepts too which opens us for both tech and core jobs in future Exams here occurs in every 3 months
Internships Opportunities
Microsoft and Walmart are some companies who provides internship in our college and they give stipend too but is don't know much about it because I am a 1st year student and internship here are offered to 3rd year students
Placement Experience
7th and 8th semester students are eligible to take placement here Here companies like google, Amazon, nvidia visits every year and around 80-90 percent students get placed every year in which highest package is about 54lpa
Fees and Financial Aid
I have to pay 79000 rupees for college and 37,000 rupees for hostel and mess in which tution fees is 62500 and caution fees is 5000 and here in nits SC and ST category students do not have to pay the fees , here scholarship is very rare being in general EWS category, NSP scholarship is given to only obc, sc and st students and other than that we could take loan for our well being
Campus Life
Campus life is decent, we have some good seniors too who are too much supportive and sports facilities is too good here , every games here have a different place to happen overall sports facility is vey good
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facility is also good but here rooms are not that big as expected, mess food is very worse and mess is very expensive however hostel fees is very less, here in mess we rarely get delicious foods
Admission
I always wanted a NIT college because tag matters too in india and also it has a decent placement percentage and packages too . To take admission in this college we have to clear a paper called as jee mains
Faculty
Faculty to student ratio is not that good and especially for 1st year students we don't get much professor to teach us , many of them are phd scholars There is a teacher jyotishman sir who teaches us maths he is a very good teacher and is humble too There is a teacher souvik giri who don't teach well and I don't like him
Interview Experience
Since I am in the first year, so I haven't involved in interviews and group discussions that much but there are some clubs like debsoc ( debating society) and munsoc ( municipal society) where the group discussions are being held on regular basis and they have a certain topic which is an interesting way.
