Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Best curriculum being offered for the respective courses across India. Very future proof, and relevant. Exams happen say once a month, other than that the months of technical fests or the first month of the semester, there is mostly an exam each month

Internships Opportunities

4

Intern companies that come over are diverse and offer good opportunities. Companies like kla, citi, fidelity, motorq, etc. PPO conversion rate is also decent for these companies. Pay is decent for the opportunities offered

Placement Experience

3

Highest offer is 1,00,00,000 CTC. Placements are still under development as our first batch of seniors haven't passed out yet. First batch in engineering is 2025 grads. But the placements at the moment are still fine, companies like motorq, ibm, kla, etc visit.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees per year is 225000 for tuition, is increasing each year for future batches, but we pay the same. There is a 100000 scholarship for one person in each class, based on merit. Other than that there are sports scholarships, and scholarships for students on need basis

Campus Life

5

There are 15+ clubs on campus, on domains from music, dance, drama all the way to stand up, chess, etc. they give opportunities to those who are interested and showcase expertise in the skill, and ensure exposure at the highest levels, in terms of competition.

Hostel Facilities

2

Rooms depend on the block you get, it's pretty decent. But there are major issues with the restrooms in a few blocks, and also monkey problems. Another issue is clean drinking water. The mess is good for everyday food, but in general quality and food isn't the best

Admission

Didn't make it to nit iit, couldnt crack jee. My batch was the COVID batch of class 12. So board marks for cbse were also awarded badly, so anna university was out of the question for the college expectations I had. Choose between Amrita, vit, sastra, etc. chose snu as it was the best amongst them

Faculty

3.5

Faculty student ratio, is pretty high. There are sufficient well qualified staff. In the perspective of examinations, there are 2 internal exams, 1 midsem and an end semester exam. The difficulty is harder than anna university on a comparative standard, but easily passable with proper dedicated study.

The curriculum is relevant and provides a good balance of theoretical knowledge and practical learning. It prepares students for real-world applications, but more industry projects, practical sessions, and updated teaching methods would help. Exams are generally well-spaced and moderately difficult.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because it covers important subjects related to computer science, programming, databases, networking, and emerging technologies. The combination of theoretical knowledge and practical subjects influenced my decision to choose this course. The curriculum provides a good foundation in technical concepts and programming. However, more practical projects, industry-based training, internships, and real-world applications would help students become better prepared for careers and further studies.
