Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum was good. Both theory and practical subjects were in balance. Syllabus is built according to UGC rules and according to other competitive exams. Teaching method is through smart classrooms and labs were also maintained well.

Campus Life
My overall experience at the university was very good. I liked the campus facilities such as library, classrooms. Hygiene is also well maintained in the campus. Infrastructure of the university is under construction but the 2 blocks that are already constructed, are well mainrtained with 2-4 security guards. Extra activities such as festival celebrations, workshops are also organised when required.
Admission
The admission process of the university is moderate. Selection is done through a competitive exam and merit based if seats remain vacant. This is a State Technical university which is funded by HP Govt. Extra curricular activities make it different from other universities and as it is a state university, sometimes we can get benefit of funded field visits.
Faculty
Faculty in Environment Science was 3 teachers over 40 students ( 2 Batches ) Field visits are done time to time for better practical knowledge. 5-6 theory subjects with 2-3 practical subjects were there in a semester.
