Course Curriculum Overview

5

I choosed Ayurveda because I had scored less marks in NEET examination but I was not at all disappointed with my decision when I came to know about this field this field deals with chronic diseases which are happening in today's life like hypertension diabetes obesity and many skin diseases many spine related problems but but Ayurveda works very brilliantly and I am very impressed how it can treat a chronic disease lasting for years in just one or three months also I like how it is all natural and does not show many complications also the coming time is also for Ayurveda because now a days people don't want to consume modern medicine pills because they know that these pills have very much complications which can damage the body after along period if consumed for longer period

Internships Opportunities

1

there is no type and for our colleges because our college is a private college and ncism don't consider private college interns anything my biggest complaint for Ayurveda field is that you should at least provide monthly 4 to 5000 for the interns working hard and providing care for you these these practicing doctors are very hard working and you make the work hard for 7 to 8 hours in a day and don't even pay anything you should have sympathy for the students

Fees and Financial Aid

I have Paid 240000 yearly for 3 years and last year fees is 360000. Admission Fees is 10000. Batchmates from OBC SC ST get scholarships Around 50000-80000 No Special Extra Fess just Examination Fees Every Year Which is 15000 in 1st year 7500 in 2nd year 7500 in 3rd year 7500 in 4th year

Campus Life

5

when you are in your first year there is freshers and when you are in your internship there is farewell so programs in between keep happening like garba night Navratri and dhanvantari Puja and yoga and there are many things but special in our college there is no socialising I don't know why people are very weird here it may be it is because of the city if you go to Dehradun there college is have a good socializing sports also happens sports day was also conducted which we lost with a very high margin but it was very enjoyable

Admission

I really wanted to do MBBS but when I did the Ayurveda counselling I thought that I would apply for Patanjali because it is one of the best colleges for BAMS but also the competition was very high which I did not expected and I was very very disappointed in myself that I did not get Patanjali but I have quadran Institute of Ayurveda which is very very similar to Patanjali because there are many faculties which have came from Patanjali to our college and also have showed a dark side of Patanjali to US and also has said that Ayurveda is not about Patanjali contributes in promoting Ayurveda but Ayurveda as a whole is not Patanjali so that was very I opening for us

Faculty

4

faculties depend on the subjects as some subjects are easy and son subjects are very practical and difficult to understand so the faculty number increases as the difficulty of the subject for example Kaya chikitsa has almost 5 faculties and they are all very talented and very good teachers and same goes with surgery also some teachers are very cool I don't want to take names but there is one teacher who is our community medicine teacher he is very supportive and friendly also the Ras Shastra teacher was there she was very brilliant with her concepts of Ayurveda but she became medical officer and she left the college I still miss that teacher because she did not showed us any ego while teaching exams are early for old batches but because the pattern has changed so the internal exam takes place four times during a professional year and main exam takes place after that exams are difficult if you will not study you can fail in them and you have to give back examinations which are also very some teachers I didn't like at all don't want to take any names but though teachers have zero practical knowledge and they just come there to complete an hour of study and wasting all time as well

Other Applied Colleges

Course Curriculum Overview:

Majority of subjects are really helpful with their clinical applications in either diagnosing or treating the patients but some other subjects like Sanskrit grammar, padartha vigyan and others are just irrelevant and pose no significant use, the exams get difficult with each passing years as you have to study around 5 subjects per year and each subject has 2 papers and you have to pass in both of them.

Course Curriculum Overview:

First of all, I chose this course because of its rising demand and also because I have a keen interest in learning about Ayurveda, its remedies, and its treatment. In teaching the faculty is good overall. But in some departments, the faculty members are very few. The faculty member is well qualified. They all are mds from different regions of India. Many of them are from BHU too. The term exams are conducted in every 6 months(total 3 times) as the 1st prof. is of one and a half years now. And the periodic test is conducted 3 times in every 6 months(Total 9 times) and the Last Final exam is conducted at the end of the prof.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because Ayurveda is a very wide field it is not a science it is like a Veda that we are reading so it has a huge scope in the coming era after Covid time. Students are to faculty ratio is completely fulfilled as per the norms of the NCISM committee Each and Every Single faculty had completed their MD ( maters ). As it's a professional course so the exam is according to the university and quite difficult to pass.
