Course Curriculum Overview

3

I chose this course because one of my relatives suggested me. See there are subjects like DT(Design Thinking) and CT (Computational Thinking) which actually prepares you for real world problems and develops your way of thinking in the problems.

Internships Opportunities

3

Since I am a new student I don't have much idea about this. But since the college is in PUNE and it's a city with lot of IT sector companies, internships are available. There are a lot of hackathons going on every time which will help you with resume for your internships.

Placement Experience

3

Placements are not that nice but yeah still it's good. Last year highest package was 58 lakh per annum. That was only one, rest of them all got an average of 7-8 lpa. There are around 1500 students in B.Tech CSE. 100% placements is not there.

Fees and Financial Aid

Provisional admission fees: 50,000 First year academic fees(including provisional): 2,80,000 Hostel one year fees: 1,60,000 Scholarship is available but for that you need to be connected with the student section and ask them.

Campus Life

4

Campus life here is actually nice. There are so many clubs organized by senior students. You can join them. They help you enhance your skill as well as hobbies. The Sports Complex is a huge place including the gym , swimming pool and a lot of sports included. You can spend your time near the river side area as welll.

Hostel Facilities

4

Hostel facilities are not that nice but yeah rooms are nice and better than PG's. You have to be in by 9:30 PM. You are not allowed to keep iron and kettle or anything. There will be one induction for the building you can use it. In campus hostels are way better. The only problem is that they'll provide the hot water only in the morning.

Admission

I applied for CV RAMAN in BBSR and I didn't applied for more colleges. I chose this because it had more exposure. This college also doesn't care much about your JEE score. You can get in through an online examination known as PERA-CET.

Faculty

3

Faculty is actually very helpful and will listen to your problems if genuine. I am still new to the college so I couldn't name any faculty as such but still I find the faculty nice. In my course per semester have 3 exams. Term Assessment-1 and Term Assessment-2 of 20 marks written exam and viva and assignments. And then at last end sem paper of 50 marks.

Placement Experience:

Placements at ADYPU are moderate and structred . Students usually become eligilble from the final year for campus drives. Various startups and mid level comapnies visit for roles in sales, marketing, operatioons and tech support . The highest pacakage generally ranges arounf 45-50LPA , while the average package is around 4.5-6 LPA , depending on the profile . A fair percentage of active students secure placements. After completing my degree, i plan to focus on skill development and pursue better career op;portunities.

Placement Experience:

placements in GHRCE are pretty good for CS/IT branches. Students become eligible from 7th semester, but companies starts giving training sessions from 6th sem itself. Many known companies visits like Tcs, Wipro, Capgemini, cognizant, Infosis etc The highest package goes around 20-22 LPA while the average package is around 5-6 LPA. Almost 70-80% students from CS/IT get placed. My plans after getting the degree is to get a stable job and then do masters.

Government College of Engineering, Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Artificial Intelligence & Data Science)
Reviewed on Mar 2, 2025(Enrolled 2022)

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course out of sheer curiosity and intrest in the field of Artificial Intelligence . The course offered by the college encapsulates all the major subtopics included in the field. Theoretically the curriculum offers great knowledge about various topics from your course however you yourself have to figure out how do you build your practical skills which you can use in the real world. teaching methods can be improvised by implementing a more practical learning based approach rather than relying on the theoretical part of the subject. there are 2exams per semester, one small exam called as mid semester exams and the other one is the major exam called as final semester exam. difficulty of exam is usually easy to moderate and one can easily pass the exam even if he/she does not study regularly.
