Course Curriculum Overview

Irrelevant curriculum,it is an age old course which focus more on theory. It doesn't make student ready for any industry nor any personal growth Course should include some thing which make student a idea about real world outside

Class Size: 35Course Fees: INR 6000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Total fee is 6000 which is very cheap because this collage is under government of Kerala For each semester different fee is to be paid for university E grantz central sector scholarship were provided

Campus Life

Different fest including cultural fest kalapa Arts fest science fest physics fest are taking place yearly Library is pretty good with reader friendly environment Good sports facilities with synthetic tracks and ground

Admission

No entrance exams nor any interview was there admission is purely based on 12 marks through university porta index score No students were placed in bsc physics because it is more theory oriented course so the average package was zero When taking about internship this internship culture is seen very low Only few were doing internship ,it is a basic ug course Bsc physics students mainly goes for MSC or govt exams

Faculty

Teachers were highly qualified and friendly and they are very helpful to every students Most of the teachers hold PhD and published research papers Quality of teaching is also commentable The curriculum of the course is irrelevant but from 2024 on wards curriculum changed to new shape Semester exams were easy pass percentage is more than 70

Excellent college with good academics

Likes

Loved the college campus and academic approach campus is very vast and diverse provide good classroom environment
Teachers are very supportive and friendly to every student there
Management of college doesn’t torture students like in the other colleges

Dislikes

I didnt like the place where college is located that much
I think strictness can be little less in academic
It need to improve in digital teaching methods

I chose bsc psychology because i just love to comfort others and tries to solve their problems our college curriculum makes us not only good in studies but also real life experiences in everyday psychological situations and how to overcome that kind of situation

Balanced campus life and quality of education

Likes

The teachers were suppourtive and explained the subject clearly
The college campus was clean ,peacful and had a good learning atmosphere
The library and other facilities were useful for students and exam preparation

Dislikes

No placement were there so students had to took jobs on their own
Some classrooms and laboratory facilities needed improvement
More extracurricular activities should be arranged

The course curriculum was well structured and covered the fundamental concepts in all details .It included both theoretical and practical learning ,which helped in understanding the subject better .Internal assessment, assignments and semester examinations were conducted regularly.The exams were of moderate difficulty and manageable with regular study.

In our college, along with studies it focus extracurricular activities. Each year definitely some people selected for mg university youth festival and they got prizes in participating items. Kolkali is highlight of our college.

Academic excellence in a beautiful campus

Likes

Academic excellence is there. 90 % of students are merit based admission, those who have achieved 90 and above percentage in 12 th grade. So there is high passing percentage.
Cultural programs are regularly conducted. Don't feel stressed out by studies

Dislikes

Sports activities are not regularly conducted or encouraged
Chemistry lab is not clean, chemicals are not kept correctly

My favourite subject is biology. I have applied for zoology course but unfortunately there is no seats available at that time, so I chose Botany which is also my favourite. The curriculum is perfect and prepares for real world. More practical sessions are needed. Every 6 months there will be semester exam. Which is not that much tough.

Likes

The college has a breathtaking historic beauty.
Many legendary persons, from writers to actors, were an alumni here.
The college atmosphere has place for freedom and fun.

Dislikes

Toilet facilities are very bad. Strict action is required
The college lacks proper drainage infrastructure.
Waste management is worse. College authorities must find solutions to this problem.

Campus has aesthetic beauty due to the fact that it was built during the British-era
Campus life is full of freedom and enjoyment, and lot of activities to do.
Many great personalities studied and had left a legacy untouched.

Dislikes

Waste management is poor. Require proper waste management techniques
Toilet conditions are bad. Some water coolers are not working

The infrastructure is very good as full with trees

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am a chemistry lover. I want to become a chemist. That why I am passionately choose this course. Sree Narayana College, Cherthala was my first option. Their previous year pass percentage is the main attraction to me. There are 38 students in my class. And overall 100-110 students in my department. In our college, other 4 department has Chemistry as complementary course. There are 6 teachers in my department. 4 of them had PhD. One s registered for PhD. They are very brilliant and friendly teachers. The help us verymuch to improve our knowledge and cracking competitive examinations. They taught very well. Laboratory experience is the main attraction of SN college. They provide beautiful lab section. After I passed out, college offered a post graduation. All the 6 semester exams was undertaken by University if Kerala in regular intervals. EXAMINATIONS and Result publications are very well maintained by The University. We are really comfortable.

College lacks infrastructure and ample space for the ease of college excitement but the college offers a great field of laboratories and on-site experience in the field the faculty and lectures sometimes involve too much into their personal life than minding their own business.

Hi I am a bsc maths first year student of Brennan college. I came to Brennan because of my great desire to do my graduate studies in Brennan college. I came to Brennan college after taking BSc Mathematics course. I got admission here with plus two qualification. I knew Kannur University admission start through newspaper and depended on Akshaya Kendra to give application and then pay fee easily. I got necessary reservations as I belonged to ST category. The fee amount was also reasonable. ? got into the college in the first allotment because me belonged to the ST category and had good marks in Plus Two. I got admission in the college without much difficulty due to the timely intervention of the SFI union workers and college teachers. When we got down in front of the college gate, the sFI admission help desk was there to receive us. Union members helped when also needed a copy of the certificate.
