Course Curriculum Overview

ECE is one of the core branches in engineering and need more research to explore is branch widely thus on my intrest i choosed this branch. In my college all supporting staff including principle are from ECE department so there is well maintenance of our branch in the college. We have well equipped Lab and lab assistants to assist us to understand real world applications of course, coming to improvements staff need to opt more digitalization to explain more briefly and staff need to be punctual. The frequency of exams is student will have CAT exams For every 40-50 days and semester exam for every 4-5 months.

Internships Opportunities

4

There nearly 30 companies which offer incollege internships and nearly 130 students get hired every year from our college. There are companies such asNational Academy of Construction, Reliable Environmental Services, Vaanahaa Education and Innovation labs Private Limited, Banka Bioloo limited visit more oftenly for hirings and coming to their projects and activities:One week Training on bar bending, total station surveying and construction management, Phase-2 finishing school, Phase-1 finishing school 1.30 hrs. training program on ETABS, Overview on Environmental Engineering and Solid Waste Management.Coming to stipend i am not clear about that but i know the stipend is decent for the work they are doing.

Placement Experience

4

The placements are good while compared to other competitive colleges All students are trained for placement from the second year itself if your good in all skills and have good CGPA will placed with good package for sure as many companies such as amazon, google, microsoft, infosys, accenture, Tcs visit during placements drive there nearly 600 students got placed in first placement drive percentage of students get placement is 80 percent now coming to packages highest package is around 50lpa in campus and 1cr off campus and the average is around 5Lpa in real figures. And if your are not selected staff is very supportive and will assist you for future journeys. Hope fully i'll got selected and work in Hyderabad itself

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees per annum is 140000,for complete course it takes 4 years, Thus the fees per complete course 560000 you can get scholar ship through eamcet whether you will complete scholar ship or partial scholarship depends on your family revenue status. There are some hidden fees like university fees and library fees as well that might cost upto 40000 for 4 years depending on your course.Per annum fees might vary from year to year surely it will increase every year.

Campus Life

4

There are many fests which happen in college but majorly we have three fests named festronix, Tejas which is a sports fest and last is ortus all others are department fests..And There A tedx event as well. Festronix and tejas are mostly held in October and November months coming to ortus it will be held in the month of February. Ortus and festronix are held in 2 days as tejas is a sports fest it will be in 3-4 days. Our library has all the subject related books which are free to access and all the editions are available from latest to old some other ready stuff like magazines, comics, story books are also there to read when bored and you can take them to home for a limited period as well after that you need to pay money for how many days you borrowed. All the classes are decently digitized but most of them are not used upto their extent. All major sports and their clubs are there in the college,We have separate ground for college and hostel including foot ball court and cricket stadium but most of them are unused all over the year expect on the days of tejas. The impact of these extra curricular clubs are very minor because the Institute is mainly dependent on curricular activites and i forgot to mention there are NCC and NSS as well in the college so students can participate and can get certificates.

Admission

Actually I haven't choosed this college, I got this college through Eamcet and i choose this because my rank wasn't that great so i started my preferences from this college luckyly i got seat in last phase and the college is good while compared to other colleges in competition such as it has good student supporting staff, good placement cell, good infrastructure, good transport facility, good student affair cell. There are three admission process one is through Eamcet and another one is through is through JEE for both of this you need to get eligibility marks or rank after getting you need to come to college with all the certificates which mentioned so that your certificates are checked and the admission will be given. and the last one is management quota for this you need to come to college and need to talk with the managenent and should pay few lakhs for the seat depending on the course you select.

Faculty

5

Faculty is good when compared to other colleges near by hyderabad. All Faculty are well experienced and trained in the field. Coming to courses every course in the college has a time period of four years with 8 semester, for every semester students need to write semester end examinations to pass the semester and within one semester students have 2 internals(CAT-1, CAT-2). For a semester there will be 10-15(including labs) courses/Subjects depending on the branch, As the college is affiliated to jntuh The question paper pattern and marking schemes are similar to Jntuh.A Course has a maximum mark of 100 in which Semester end examaintion is of 60 marks which are evaluated from the course instructors and external staff, while coming to Internals they are of 30 marks and conducted twice in one semester for this average will be taken from both internals, remaining 10 marks are in the hands of course instructors which will be depending on your behavior and activeness in the class.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I like that the course doesn't feel outdated. Along with the regular subjects we spend a lot of time on coding, projects, and problem solving so it feels connected to what companies actually expect. As a second year student i already feel like i am building skills that i will be able to use during internships and placements and not just preparing for semester exams

Placement Experience:

No batch has graduated yet so there's no record of placement data yet. But more than 200 students got internships. Also the unique point of NIAT is students gets internships from their 1st year itself. NIAT has connection in the industry also its unique teaching style, this allows 1st year students to get internships. Although there is no pass out batch yet, still many people got placed in good companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My college course curriculum is outdated .As im studying in computer science and engineering,i wpuld love to study about technological aspects and grow as a software engineering but in the course curriculam they teach my about mechanical workshops,There were no practical experience it jsut understanding the concept with theoritical part . i would love lo code but my college wastes entire time by helping with electricals, meachanical basics. i dont think is it really necessary for me understand in all the feilds they think that student should perform in all the fields as im in computer science and engineering student ,They should teach me more about coding and computer ,how it industries works and how these technology enhacning ,the arenot even explore about all these sectos they only teaching me about fundametals of all the subjects which is never useful for my studies . as i am in final year of btech i thought learning and deepdiving into computerscience and engineering subjects is more greater than learning all sector fundamentals,The area they need to improve is removing some of the oudated syllabus from their ciricullum and enhcing with the pratical experience not to teach only theoritical part. they have to teach all the areas with realtime examples. The timings of exams is very good .we do have 2 mid exams and one semester final exams for each sem and the subjects feels meduim level difficulty

Placement Experience:

The placements are comparatively more in this college, as there is more industry exposure. Students are eligible for placements from around 3-2 (3rd yr-II sem) to 4-2 (4th yr- II sem). Companies like Amazon, Cognizant, NCR often visit the campus. The highest package offered last year was 1.2 cr (International offer). Around 90% students who were eligible got placement. My plan is to get a decent package after the degree.

Placement cell is least active.. Few good companies like Infosys, amazon, TCS etc visited but the average package is of 1-2 LPA and only 25-30% of students whose all exams are cleared can sit in the placement cell. The highest package is of 8LPA. My plan is to move abroad for higher studies.. The students after completion of 6th sem can sit in placement cell

Students become eligible for campus placements after their 6th semester. The companies start visiting in 7th and 8th semesters. The companies are not much good and are mostly service based. So the placement statistics are also not much good. The highest placement last year was 10 lpa and the median placement was around 4.1 lpa. The placements were starting from 2.5 lpa. The better option for students is to apply for off-campus placements or start preparing for competitive exams
