Course Curriculum Overview

The courses have been started now. The courses provided here are Btech in Ai &ds cs ece mech and pg cousin are also been provided here apart from that here MBA is also provided these courses are helpful in engineering

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 42786 per year

Visvesvaraya Technological University regional centre Mysore it has 4 regoinal centres in belgaum banglore Mysore and kalburgi can be joined through Karnataka cet exam since it is handled by government it's fees structure is in this way 42786 for college fees 37500 for mess charges 22000 for hostel charges I am in vtu Mysore it has good infrastructure and facilities the ug eng degree classes started since 4 years

Campus Life

The campus life better yhan I had thought about the engineering campus. To say about the infrastructure it has mess canteen cafeteria gym and indoor games in terms of other than studies in terms of studies we have provided with physics and chemistry labs and computer labs too and seperate offices for every branch and administrative office and even apartment for the staff

Admission

I didn't had any suggestions from anyone to join this college but according to cut off I could be getting this college so I had selected this college in option entry so I was successful in getting this college but really I am experiencing a good life here

The information about the the staff members is being provided in the website of vtu since it's main branch is belgaum it is in the website of vtu belgaum and the faculties are good and experienced staff

Is NIAT worth the hype? My honest student review

Likes

You actually get to do things instead of just listening to lectures
The learning environment feels quite active
We have good exposure to the tech industry

Dislikes

The workload can get too intense sometimes
Not everything feels like a traditional college experience
The overall cost is a concern as it is a bit high

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the NIAT curriculum around four out of five. In my opinion, it is good that the curriculum is not only based on theoretical studies. The inclusion of coding, projects, assignments, and practical knowledge is quite engaging for the students, as they can apply the acquired information in practice. Additionally, I find the curriculum up to date compared to the standard Btech syllabus, which mainly focuses on theoretical background. However the curriculum could have fewer assignments, as some of them are rather time consuming and require additional study to achieve a better understanding of a particular subject.

While the academics are strong, more industry visits,live projects.

The curriculum at my college is comprehensive and relevant to current industry requirements . One of the main reasons I chose this course was the balanced combination of theoretical concepts and practical application.

Likes

The coaching here is good but one thing is you need you cope up
Transdiciplinary project centric learning
Hackathon programs are conducted monthly once by different sectors

Tha fest here is not too good... not a expected

From 2nd year they give placement training..mostly from 6th sem they allow us for placements this year the highest paid is 54Lacks per annum mostly 90 percentage of students gets placed my plan is to for a good job

faculties can be easily approched for doubt solving
seniors are also friendly and quite helpful
labs have sufficient infrastructure, in proper working condition

teaching is mainly in regional languange
placements are about 40 to 50 percent, placements in core is bit difficult
correction for core courses are tough, .

Placement Experience:

campus placements is pretty good, from 6th sem students are allowed to take placements pretty good companies like synopsis, qualcomm, samsung and many other top requirters do come for placements. there are few people who even with backlogs have placed so it depends on the student capabilty to get placed.

KSIT - A good college with everything mixed level.

Likes

Good teachers, very friendly & teaching is good.
Easy to travel due to multiple transports.

Dislikes

Small infrastructure as the area is too small.
Not have ground to play when students are free

Placement Experience:

The on-campus usually starts in 6th Semester. A company called MathCo was the first company it came for the role of analyst. Around 5-7 people got selected. The average package would be usually around 4-4.5 LPA, but highest package was 6.25 from PlanetSpark for role of Sales. The percentage is nearly to 10-12%. After degree, get a job and work for atleast 2 years for learning current trends is my basic thought as of now.

ya the overall infrastructure is good and company placements there was well wishers in that time
teaching is not what i expected but good
mentorship quality is ok,faculty expertise is ok ,profeeional department is medium

Dislikes

they where strict and needed some cultural event for every month of one year
they dependent for notes in their classes where this is not i am interested
they will call for the phone for every wrong things to tell their parents

the curriculum was not inflenced by the decision and where the choosen course was clear and academic marks was good the teching methods need to be very friendly and didnt strict to be done so where then its superb the timing of exams is correctly done and perspective for the difficulty level appliction speceific for the students in their real wor examples
