My college is a very good college. And it is on rank 3 in odisha among the collegea under bput. Join and feel yourself.

Entrance Preview

I scored a good rank in OJEE exam conduct by odisha government education and got a seat hear in electrical branch.I have chosen electrical branch coz i had a dream to be an electrical engineer.The admission process was very smooth.

Internships Opportunities

My college internship experience was fantastic for me. we got a stipend of 10000 per year.There is a scale for stipend , those students who scored above 60% would get 10000 above 50% would get 8000and below it no stipend.

Placement Experience

Many companies were came. And most of my friend got placed . Other few friends wants to continue their study so they join iit's for further studies.

College Events

Every year 3to 4 events organised by our college.1 . cultural fest 2. tech fes t3. annual sports 4. blood donation camp and many other events cultural festival is a very large event.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Not at all the fee structure is very low as compared to other colleges. Its just 29000 per annum. and you have to paid separate for hostel. And its also very low 24000 per year.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes my college also gives scholarships and also help the poor students to grow. In my view my college management gives 2-3 students a free study every yaer.

Campus Life

As i said above every year my college organised tech fest. So robotic is part of it. robo war is a very interesting thing in it.Everything is good in my college. lab hostel campus everything is just fine.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel life was best of my B tech carrier. the food provided byhostel was so healthy and good. the quality of food was very good.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

My seniors were very friendly. No ragging inside the campus. also theh were very helpful. They gave us their books notes etc. Also they never hesitant to help at any moment.

Exam Structure

No we all were enjoyed also the exam. Although exam was took place very strictly and also lab. No cheat allowed. and also there is punishment for any cheating activities.

Likes

The environment of KIIT is best for student as their are students from all over India you learn many things other than just your course.
The college life for the students at KIIT is awesome as the architecture of the university is designed for students to explore every possible thing required by any student.
The fest of KIIT is just best the students enjoy those days the most.

Dislikes

As for me their are no flaws that I can say I dislike in KIIT.

Placement Experience:

The placement was quite good. The one who is disciplined and willing to get placed and surely get placed and the total average was around six LPA and the highest package was 53 LPA, which was offered by the atlassian

Likes

The infrastructure of each campus in the college is very pretty and it's a green campus
The classrooms are well equipped with WiFi, Smart-boards for digital education.
Also travelling from one campus to another has been made easier as buses and golf carts are provided to students

Dislikes

The crowd of students here is too much which feels too much chaotic and disturbing .
The hostel management here as they don't give importance to the major issues here.
The hostel mess food. The quality is degrading day by day

Placement Experience:

The placements of my college is good. This year 75% of the students are already placed with an average package of 8LPA . The highest package till now for this year is 22LPA. Many companies have visited for the placements and 100+ offers have been made. Companies like BNY, Infosys, Deloitte, Accenture, Capgemini, Cognizant, Bain& Company, High Radius, TCS, EY, PWC and many more of them have visited the campus.

Likes

Beautiful campus with lot's of space and with good computer labs
They conduct exam in very smoothly manner

Dislikes

Need to improve administrative building while submitting fees many students face problem
Lab session of some subjects are too long which is around 3 hrs which need to reduce for atleast 2 hrs

Placement Experience:

Placement opportunities in my college are good, with students generally becoming eligible for campus placements from the pre-final or final year, depending on the course and company criteria. The college has an active placement celll that supports students by Organizing training sessions, resume building and also mock interviews.

Have collabs with IBM, Samsung, Capgemini for RnD and NUS singapore , University of North Texas
Our college has hosted International Conferences like IEEE InGAARS 2025and Indocrypt 2025, where scientists had came from NASA, ISRO, all IITs, Foreign Universities, etc
Exposure is Good. The teachers here put efforts to teach and research. Unlike other colleges where teachers comes and roll out PPTs, here every teacher teaches on Board explaining everything properly

Dislikes

Few teachers speak in Odia accent, so it takes couple weeks to adjust
Campus is kind of small (36acres), but its good area for a IIIT, considering IIIT delhi is just 25 acres
3 occupancy hostels for 1st years (same goes for any other NIT/IIIT), but they have a option of single rooms from 2nd year

Placement Experience:

from 6th sem, students are eligible almost 100 companies visited including IBM, VISA, Infosys, DE Shaw etc. Highest is 63 LPA and avg is 12-13LPA 90% placements I may consider doing MBA if I dont get very big package

Teaching style of faculty is excellent and related to practical based

Placement Experience:

From 6th sem of completion eligible to sit in placement called by campus placement in university. Companies like accenture, techmahindra,tech bee,and wipro comes for hiring. Highest package till now is 29 lpa and lowest is 1.5 lpa. Average package is 5lpa. Mostly 80 percentage of students getting placement from campus drive. My plan after getting degree is getting job from campus drive.

The professor who taught in our class they are taught is best In teaching.
They provide you many opportunities to work upon on you.
The infrastructure of college is good and huge.

Dislikes

The campus is very vast, and you have to walk for every minute of work.
The are very serious about your study and what you are doing
The gate get closed if you get came late even it's 5-10 minute late.

Placement Experience:

It's good as many company come but the placement directly depend on your study and hard work of your 4 year and a pre placement also conduct in 3rd year where you can also get placed. For placement the student should secure 8-10 cgpa for sit in interview exam.
