Course Curriculum Overview

4

This curriculum is a bit complicated. The college takes us for industrial visits every semester which helps us in understanding how the actual world round and what it needs from us. There are three exams in semester . The first and second exams are conducted for 2.5 units each of 75 marks and the 3rd exam is conducted for all the 5 units for 50 marks. So the exams are mostly moderate level

Internships Opportunities

3

The college offers is meant internship opportunities. Some companies are TCS ,shell , Accenture, Asian paints, TVS etc The college asks us to make some projects during our final year which is also very essential for placement and internship opportunity. The teachers also helps us if there are any doubts regarding it

Placement Experience

3

The students do mostly become eligible for campus placements from 6 th semester. TCS, cognisant, TVs are sind companies that I remember that visited our college. Many other company also came which I do not remember. The college claims to give 90% placements. I plan on acquiring higher degrees

Fees and Financial Aid

The total fees is about 2.15 lakhs. If you come by counseling it is lot less which is about 1.65 lakhs. The scholarship is really good. The college gives us holidays in Sunday's and Mondays not on Saturdays and Sundays due to traffic on Mondays.

Campus Life

4

The campus life is very greenery covered with thousands of trees which gives you very calm and peaceful vibe. Our college has some of the best equipments which can be seen only in few colleges across India. There are many clubs you can join in. Events occur atleast once a week.

Admission

My parents gave me only three options rajalakshmi engineering College, panimalar enginnering college and rmk. Rmk was very strict and the placements weren't that great and is too far from my home. Panimalar was also strict and the placements weren't that great too. And there wasn't much opportunities given to students from college. Rec was much closer and had good infrastructure and was less strict and also had good placements and internship opportunity

Faculty

4

Most staff members are well educated and many have PhDs. The are very cooperative and more understandable like my first semester maths teacher Rajkumar sir . But some teachers are very rude and never try to understand our opinion like our python teacher(mala ma'am). The are 3 internal exams The first two exams consists of 2.5 units each for 75 marks. The third exam is an MCQ questions which consists of all the 5 units for 50 marks.

Other Applied Colleges

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is relevant and provides a good balance of theoretical knowledge and practical learning. It prepares students for real-world applications, but more industry projects, practical sessions, and updated teaching methods would help. Exams are generally well-spaced and moderately difficult.

Placement Experience:

Placements are generally decent, with students becoming eligible from the final year. Several companies visit for recruitment, offering roles in technical and non-technical fields. Packages vary by company, and placement opportunities depend on skills and performance. Many students secure jobs, while others pursue higher studies or competitive exams.
