Course Curriculum Overview
I had a keen interest in physics thats why I choose to do a major in this and dtu was the best decision for me because of its proximity , amazing campus and college life and decent placements. We have many types of working instruements in our labs to evolve our interest in engineering and make us better engineers. Improvement in curriculum can be made when students can study the indepth of any subject they are willing to study irrespective of their branch. Every semester two exams sessions are conducted mid sem and end sem . Difficulty varies with subject and also with your interest while supposedly many students consider basic electrical engineering as tough.
Internships Opportunities
Internship is provided to 3rd year students . One can get placed in their core branch , tech , non tech roles like data analyst software engineer etc.Many big companies like apple , google , microsft provides amazing intern with decent salaries like 60k per month .
Placement Experience
Placements in dtu is very good . If one have a 8+ cgpa it gets easier to secure placement . Many big companies like amazon , google , Microsoft comes in dtu and provide amazing opportunities. Highest package in dtu goes upto 80 lakhs per annum and average package is different for every branch .More than 85% students gets placed every year . Btech degree value in dtu also matters as you can apply for higher education like mtech and mba with ease.
Fees and Financial Aid
To secure a seat at delhi Technological university we need to pay 95k to confirm our admission at dtu. Then we have an yearly fees of 141000 and that is for two combined semesters. There is also a fees waiver for students who have annual income lower than 4 lakhs per annum or you need to score a perfect 10 cgpa in your respective branch to get full fees waiver.
Campus Life
The overall experience in college till now is very good . All seniors and faculties are very helpful and always ready to provide help. Dtu is also very famous for its fest . Engifest in dtu lures many audience and is the biggest fest in north india . Fest vibe in dtu is a must to experience. Library is also very fast with numerous deep conceptual books . Dtu also has many societies related to robitics, coding , tech , sports, cultural , communication and dance societies and one can join any society keeping their interest in mind.
Admission
Well I got my admission in dtu through exam conducted by nta jee mains . According to my rank I was also getting nsut due to very much chill and pressure free college life , more interaction with seniors and faculties and decent placement structure. To get into dtu for a general candidate you need to score percentile between 95-99 in jee mains and if you have reservation benefits it is much more easier for you. I could not clear jee advanced but acc to my rank i think it was the best decision i could make
Faculty
Faculty are very much understandable and way of teaching of some professors is just amazing. Well My physics and chemistry faculties arvind gupta sir and reshu jain mam are amazing and never fails to impress us by their knowledge. We have 2 exams in every semester mid sem and end sem. We have credits system like every subject has credits major subject like electrical maths physics etc have 4 while computer fundaments and engineering workshops like subjects have 2 credits. The curriculum is also very good and efficient
