A chapter of growth, my college life

Likes

Since I am in civil dept so the civil dept is the most well maintained and beautiful dept of my college. The faculty members are more or less friendly and good.
Teachers are good and friendly. Specially in civil the seniors are also good and friendly.
In civil dept there are many events which take place as compared to other dept .

Dislikes

Only boys hostel is there but no girls hostel.
In civil dept the placement opportunities are not upto the mark but in other dept specially chemical placement is good even in mechanical too.
Campus can be made more beautiful although work is going on.

Course Curriculum Overview:

See I had the passion for civil since my 10th std. I am really happy about my course . Because there are many job opportunities in govt sector in Assam. I like the teachers of my dept but some are not that friendly . Maybe it depends upon their mood sometimes I don't know really . The civil course is practical it's enjoyable. I would have liked it more if it would had more placement opportunities on campus . Otherwise it's fine

Its a good college. I feel lucky to read on this college. They faculty, the facilities is nice. The environment of the college is very good for education. The management cell of the college is also do grat jobs. But the main problem I have found is placement. According to the other colleges the placement of this college is not so good. If the college can give more placement then it will become a great college. Overall its a great college full of knowledge.

There are 3 ways to take admission in Central Institute of Technology Kokrajhar in B.Tech. (1) through JEE Mains examination & CITK Counselling, (2) JEE Mains examination & JOSAA Counselling, (3) CITK Entrance Exam Test. The application for the CITK (the CITKrance Exam) is available in the Con theK website mission section. Examination data and the counseling period match with JEE Mains and are sometimes done before. The CITK entrance exam difficulty level is lower than JEE Mains and easy to crack. Fees for general students are 30k/sem (mess fees excluded) 90 percentile is the safe score to get CSE in this college, through JOSAA counselling. There are reservation for SC, ST, OBC and General(EWS)....Read More

Kalyani Siddha's Review On Central Institute of Technology (CIT), Kokrajhar, Kokrajhar

The whole admission process in CITK seemed like my destiny. And of course, I wanted to come here. I had other options but somehow I wished I was here. It was my calling, I guess. And for the thing that I like most about this college is the library. I really love the carpeted floor and the wooden bookshelves. The interior is very captivating, with brown walls and books all around. The place is surprisingly peaceful. Though during exams it gets crowded, other than that it's the best place to visit. The only thing that our library lacks is the literature section. I mean there are plenty of books on literature but not the actual literature. You can count the number of novels in one hand. Opting for civil engineering is something my parents did for me. As we say elders know better, so they suggested that a bright future awaits for me through the doorway of the Civil Engineering Branch. And I gladly followed their advice and I regret nothing, not yet. But I had in my mind to opt for Food Engineering and Technology, but elders know better....Read More
