Likes

First thing I liked is library which has a large collection of books and articles.
Laboratories are just excellent and updated.
Will be actively conducting workshops and cultural activities.

Dislikes

Time table is hectic and we can't utilise that time to up skill.

Course Curriculum Overview

Curriculum is updated and lot of futuristic subjects are been taught as well. Curriculum includes subjects such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, semiconductors, generative AI etc. areas of improvement includes reducing outdated syllabus.

Fees and Financial Aid

Good college. Nice infrastructure. Faculty are friendly.Will have lot of free time to up skill ourselves. Lot of cultural activities and workshops.I never regret joining this college. Decent placements.

Campus Life

They provide hostels which are good. We can join lot of clubs and learn various things. Lot of clubs are there such as DCS, GDSE ect where we can learn lot of trending technologies. Good infrastructure and laboratory facilities.

Admission

This is one of the best private colleges in India and admissions are completely merit based. Placements are excellent and faculty are well experienced. Infrastructure is good and coding culture is good. Practical learning is given atmost importance.

Faculty

Faculty are friendly and experienced. Interactive aswell. We can get lot of insights and can learn lot of things from them. Exam are moderate and we need to learn constantly. Listening to classes will make the exams easy.

Here there is no gender separation like boys and girls should be seperate and stuff like that.
It is a autonomous college so courses are changing regularly with the shift in education
Here we have relative grading system therefore there is no ranking and easy to get good grades

Dislikes

We have to pay yearly fees not semester wise it difficult for low income earning families
Money is collected from students for all events happening in the college.
There is a rush for collection of fees at the start of each year and unpaid students might face absent issues

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are moderate but i don't know much about other courses but for civil engineering the average placed ctc is 3 lakh per annum one or two students got higer package but most of the students got lower package as a fresher.

I don't like the hostel because they gave a common bathroom for us

The reason i choose this college because of the really good placements available in it. The different between the college i applied for and sastra will be Reputation: In my surroundings sastra have a great goodwill and Reputation compared to other colleges. Placements: sastra provide wide range of placements and opportunities while other colleges have limited options. I applied for sastra and srm in trichy, i got selected in both the colleges but i choose sastra Over srm. I choose sastra because of it's quality education.
