- Boys girls ratio was too low in my class there were only 6 girls in total 80 students
- Academic staff is very rude if there is some problem in your portal or something you have to go there and ask but they will do the things when they will like
- Placements average package is decreasing year by year
Course Curriculum Overview
My course was electrical engineering so it was totally dependent on lab practicals and day to day use . Faculty was very sharp in their subjects and will teach you each and everything. If you have studied with concentration then you can go for govt exams like IES or JE in any field you just have to revise your notes.
Internships Opportunities
Many companies are listed in portal and you can do internship on you own . Many PSUs were also involved in internship program like IOCL, BHEL, NHAI so yes you can opt for these internships . After completion of your internship companies may provide you a ppo.
Placement Experience
There are many placements in college our college even force students to go for summer internships and placements are good but year by year companies are coming but taking lesser students so college also provides job in department also if you want to apply
Fees and Financial Aid
The starting fees in 2019 was 1,95,000 and every year fees increases then in 2020 fees was 2,00,000 then in 2021 it was 2,06,000 then in final year 2023 it was 2,14,000 fees was same for all categories except OBC and PWD categories.
Campus Life
Campus life was very good as DTU has a very big campus in it we even have a lake so yes campus life was very peaceful. Hostels are very close to classes and you can park your private vehicles inside and there is a big sports complex where you can chill with your friends and play pool or TT . There are many clubs in college regarding fashion or fests management or regarding your education so you can join them and give a good point in your resume.
Admission
DTU is one of the top colleges in india it take admission based on your rank in JEE MAINS. I didn't gave JEE ADVANCE from which you can go to IIT's so i opted DTU because it was my dream to be in this college
Faculty
Faculty is very well to do they all are having high degrees or say many degrees in their field. Exams have two pattern each semester mid term and then final term some subjects have practical and viva also. Mid term exams were total of 25 marks and final term were of 50 marks rest marks were from attendance and class behaviour and lab marks so this would make the total from 100 marks.
