Course Curriculum Overview

5

I would rate course circulum as good in terms of relevance and comprehensiveness, still there should be some improvements. There is high focus of data science, cybersecurity, AIML which was a significant factor in my decison. My college provide hands-on experience for the subjects in circulum by conducting workshops, seminars etc. They also offer us with internships offering pratical and industrial exposure. There are some improvements rquired as it bshould keep updated regarding the trends. Coming to exams, we have 2-mid term exams and one final semester exam. Exams are well spaced allowing decent time for students to prepare. Overall, the circulum is strong and provide a solid fundamental knowledge to students.

Internships Opportunities

4

At my college, several companies offered internships for students. Some of them are salesforce, deloitte, amazon, tcs etc for roles like software engineer, data analyst etc. These internships gives students teh chance to work on real world projects and they got offered stipends around 10000-25000 per month depending on company and role.

Placement Experience

5

Students are eligible for placemenst from 7th semester. Top companies visited our college are Tech mahindra (200 offers), Accenture (150 offers), HCL(60 offers), Deloitte(20 offers), TCS(5 offers), Commvault(20 offers), Pragma Edge(15 offers), Infosys(23 offers), Carelon ( 40 offers) and many more. The higehst package is 22LPA offered by TCS and average is from Pragma Edge offered 4-6 LPA. Overall almost clsoe to 93% students got placement offers and remaining most of them opted for higher studies. I plan to joina tech companya s a software engineer to gain hands-on industry expereince.

Fees and Financial Aid

Being a student pursuing Computer Science and Engineering, my tuition fee is 1,00,000 per year. Personally, I do not have any scholarship but as my percentage of intermediate is above 95%, i got fee waive and my fee reduced to 1,00,000 per year. One good thing about this college is, once your fee is fixed, it will not change again. It will not increase till your graduation. However, to write semester exams, every student have to pay exam, ination fee of 1,400 rupees per every semester. Other than that, management will not charge for anything like library etc.

Campus Life

5

Campus life at my college is very engaging with good balance between academics and social activities. There's always something going one whether it is an academic event or a fun gathering. There are various clubs offered to students so that they can explore their interests and develop skills. My college conduct annual day every year in month of march, and intellithon every year in month of september and also a 24 hour hackathon in february. Apart from technical events, my college also conducts non-technical events like Neurosplash and Saaraang every year. The library offers a wide range of resources including collections of all subjects, acess to national and internatiional journals and well maintained past question papers and project reports. Every classroom have smartboards and mic, computing facilities, wifi etc. The campus gives high priority for inddor and outdoor games. Ans also it supports a variety of activities like debates, drama, photography eyc. There are many student run clubs like Coding club, photography club, I&E cell, student council, CSI etc. These have a great impact on studnet lives to develop their skills.

Hostel Facilities

5

My college provides hostel facility which is very near to campu. It is just 3-5 minute walkable distance from campus. For college hostel, ecah room has 4 bends, 3 fans, 4 lockers, a big storage racka nd a study table for 4 people. They wont repeat food in a week. Each day, for 3 meals they provide different types of items. They also provide snacks regurarly with tea and milk. Students need to filla form with parent signature on it to avail hostel facility and they charge 70000 per year including food nd washing machine.

Admission

I chose to be in this college because it offered a specialized course in AIML, which was a key factor as these fields are highly relevant and in demand. My college has strong industry connections providing placement and internship opportunities. And also faculty members have a great experience. My college has modern labs and computing faciloities. Also, it offers amenities like library, sports, hostels etc. Other colleges i tried applying are: 1. VNR VJIET 2. CMR 3. Anurag University 4. Gurunanak 5. Gokaraju Rangaraju 6. Malla Reddy University I got my admission confirmed in these colleges: 1. CMR 2. Malla Reddy University 3. VNR VJIET 4. Gokaraju Rangaraju Admission process in my college is quie simple. The student should have above 75% in both tenth and intermediate. If they passed our college test with great score they also get fee consession.

Faculty

5

The faculty at my college are very friendly and very experienced. Most of them are Ph.D holders and they are too good in terms of both teaching and interacting. The faculty to student ratio in my college is 1:30 which is very nice. This ration makes facutly available for students easily. For every set of 30 students a faculty is assigned as their mentor so that students can take whatever issues they ahve without any scareness. Personally I like our dean. She si very nice. If one student goes to her and tell i need thid help in this academic activity then she will do anything to help that student and make them get suceed in that. She patiently listens to the problems and solve them in a decent manner. Coming to exams, there are usually two mid-term exams and one final semester exam, along with weekly quizzes and assignments. The marking scheme is fair. Only around 5%-10% students struggle to clear some of the tougher subject exams. Overall, the college provides a strong foundation in faculty-student interaction, practical knowledge, placements and subjects offered.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I like that the course doesn't feel outdated. Along with the regular subjects we spend a lot of time on coding, projects, and problem solving so it feels connected to what companies actually expect. As a second year student i already feel like i am building skills that i will be able to use during internships and placements and not just preparing for semester exams

Placement Experience:

No batch has graduated yet so there's no record of placement data yet. But more than 200 students got internships. Also the unique point of NIAT is students gets internships from their 1st year itself. NIAT has connection in the industry also its unique teaching style, this allows 1st year students to get internships. Although there is no pass out batch yet, still many people got placed in good companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My college course curriculum is outdated .As im studying in computer science and engineering,i wpuld love to study about technological aspects and grow as a software engineering but in the course curriculam they teach my about mechanical workshops,There were no practical experience it jsut understanding the concept with theoritical part . i would love lo code but my college wastes entire time by helping with electricals, meachanical basics. i dont think is it really necessary for me understand in all the feilds they think that student should perform in all the fields as im in computer science and engineering student ,They should teach me more about coding and computer ,how it industries works and how these technology enhacning ,the arenot even explore about all these sectos they only teaching me about fundametals of all the subjects which is never useful for my studies . as i am in final year of btech i thought learning and deepdiving into computerscience and engineering subjects is more greater than learning all sector fundamentals,The area they need to improve is removing some of the oudated syllabus from their ciricullum and enhcing with the pratical experience not to teach only theoritical part. they have to teach all the areas with realtime examples. The timings of exams is very good .we do have 2 mid exams and one semester final exams for each sem and the subjects feels meduim level difficulty

Placement Experience:

The placements are comparatively more in this college, as there is more industry exposure. Students are eligible for placements from around 3-2 (3rd yr-II sem) to 4-2 (4th yr- II sem). Companies like Amazon, Cognizant, NCR often visit the campus. The highest package offered last year was 1.2 cr (International offer). Around 90% students who were eligible got placement. My plan is to get a decent package after the degree.

Students become eligible for campus placements after their 6th semester. The companies start visiting in 7th and 8th semesters. The companies are not much good and are mostly service based. So the placement statistics are also not much good. The highest placement last year was 10 lpa and the median placement was around 4.1 lpa. The placements were starting from 2.5 lpa. The better option for students is to apply for off-campus placements or start preparing for competitive exams
