Course Curriculum Overview

4

I wanted to be in the core electronics sector and that is why I selected the ECE. They teach us by application aspect the every topics and the exams were mostly based on the application aspects only. They can increase in the more lab experiment so that students can apply the knowledge taught to them. There is internals every month and mostly application questions.

Placement Experience

5

The students are getting placed in 6th sem sometimes with a intern.Many. Companies like Qualcomm, TCS, HCL, WIPRO, CTS. The average package is 6 lpa and highest package is 45 lpa. I wanted to be placed on a core electronics company with good salary

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee for this college is 180000 excluding the hostel and mess fee . It costs us nearly 240000 for all those things. There is caution deposit of 10000 . NRI quota is also available in the college where a NRI should sponsor the student snd and fee is so huge ie 325000 per year

Campus Life

5

There were 2 fest. One is kuruksastra which is cultural fest and Daksh which is technical fest. Both are inter college events happens in every even sem. There wiil be intra fest of those 2 happens in odd sem. There is a big library which has huge facilities available for the students. There is cricket ground, Football, Basketball, volleyball ground available at the college. There were also 2 indoor stadium and a tennis court. There is many social clubs such as NCC, NSS , REDCROSS

Hostel Facilities

4

There is no AC available in the hostel. There is wide range of menu for mess . The food is pure veg inside the campuss.there is no non veg in the college. The registration process of the hospital is automatically passes to students after they get admission in the college.

Admission

I applied for VIT, SSN and TNEA The fees doe the vit is huge that my family cannot arrange. Sastra has a decent fee and a good education. So I choose sastra. I failed in the interview round in SSN entrance. There is no caste wise admission like other colleges. The admission is purely based on the board marks and the JEE marks

Faculty

4

The faculties were somewhat friendly and the many faculty were so knowledgable that sometimes the idea is not reaching the students properly. There were 3 internals conducted where the best 2 from 3 is considered.

Interview Experience

5

No there is no interview for the admission for this college. Admission is purely based on board and jee marks. It is required to have good jee marks and board marks to have a course you wish to. Having 90 percent in both is boards and jee is good

The curriculum is relevant and provides a good balance of theoretical knowledge and practical learning. It prepares students for real-world applications, but more industry projects, practical sessions, and updated teaching methods would help. Exams are generally well-spaced and moderately difficult.

Placements are generally decent, with students becoming eligible from the final year. Several companies visit for recruitment, offering roles in technical and non-technical fields. Packages vary by company, and placement opportunities depend on skills and performance. Many students secure jobs, while others pursue higher studies or competitive exams.
