Overall a great experience

Likes

Supportive and knowledgeable faculty members
Industry oriented curriculum with practical learning opportunities.
Modern infrastructure including well equipped labs.

Dislikes

The placement services could be improved by bringing in wider variety of core companies
Campy wifi is slow and cuts out quite often.
Administrative processes are slow and take too long.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements from 6th or 7th sem onwards. Several major tech and service companies visit the campus every year, making multiple job offers, my personal plan is to pursue masters.

ABBS is cut over rest!!

Likes

ABBS means Professionalism and therefore students have to follow the strict uniform code as assigned by our college.
No entry without icard and it has to be around our collar whole we are in college.
Cameras are everywhere and therefore no blind spot and this ensures complete security.

Dislikes

Uniform colour is very poor as it looks like colour of postman uniform.

Placement Experience:

Oracle, Genpact, Amazon and you can name any name which you know in technology and they were at ABBS. Junior software developer roles were the primary roles offered to BCA students and placements worth 4-6 lakhs were offered to us.

Best college for Bsc in Chemistry in entire Shimoga

The admission process was very great. I got selected in the first round as I had good marks in my PU. And I got a reduction in fee due to my nice percentage in PU. The faculty were very supportive. And during the admission process, I was informed about all the scholarships that I was eligible for. I'm happy for being a part of DVS. Those who had average marks were selected in the second and third rounds. But everyone was happy during the admission process. The fee is completely dependent on the marks you have scored in PU....Read More

A memory of Life at DVS

I have applied to SRNMC and Sahyadri College. But didn't get good quality teaching as heard from seniors. So I applied to Dvs as it had good reviews. I have not applied for any quota to admission. The admission criteria are based on 2nd pic pass that can apply. There are no minimum marks required and there's no age limit for the program. The admission process is simple. Just a day process. I gave all the required documents with a Xerox copy and paid the course fees. The staff were helpful and it's a smooth process....Read More
