Course Curriculum Overview

3

The course is not that much placement oriented but it is good for building logics and improving thinking power. It prepares us to tackle real world problems and provide a great opportunity for further studies. The exams are moderate and not very difficult there are two exams in one semester.

Placement Experience

4

Placement is great in DTU almost 70% students gets selected in good companies.Students become eligible for placements from the 7th semester (i.e. 4th year). 2024 placement session is currently going on but in 2023 the placement for technical branches was more than 80%. Our past recruiter includes companies like google, Microsoft, SanDisk, Flipkart, Amazon and many more big companies. The last year maximum package was 82 lpa and average package for tech companies was around 20lpa

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee for first year is 2,36,700 Rs and it increases every year by around 10,000 Rs. From the total fees 1,55,000 Rs is tuition fees and 81,700 Rs are the other fees. The total fees for the BTech course in 4 years will be a little more than 10 lakhs. There is no direct fees concession in college based on different categories, However students can apply for scholarships like NSP and MCM Delhi government to get a fee waver. DTU also provide fee waver scholarship on its own by taking interview of the interested candidates and they grant a 100% or 50% tuition fees waver for the selected candidates.

Campus Life

5

Campus life is amazing at DTU. You get so many societies and clubs for various fields like tech enthusiastics, dancing, music, finance, gaming and many more . There are so many events going on in DTU that we lost track of them. The main fest of DTU are Engi fest and YUVAAN which are very fun so many great personalities come in our fest.

Admission

I choose DTU because it provides students a wide range of possibilities with very little ristrictions. The seniors are very helping. To get in DTU you have to give JEE mains exam and apply in the JAC Delhi counseling. Cut-off vary each year for different categories.

Faculty

5

All of the teachers in DTu are professionals they know exactly how to teach and they teach in a great manner. There are so much teachers in DTU that I only know about 10 to 15% of the faculties. One teacher I would like to mention is HC Taneja he is a god of mathematics he teach in a very different yet beautiful manner he also published his books in advanced mathematics for engineering students. There is no particular teacher that I dislike. Exams are moderate in DTU if you listen to your teachers and attend the classes you will easily get good marks in exams.

Night Life

4

Nightlife is chill you can roam in college till 11pm and the whole night if you are good in talking with the warden. There are so many cafes and places in DTU to chill and relax at night. It is a experience to be once taken in life you'll surely like it.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is good. I do not feel very pressure. The course curriculum is design by GGSIPU. There is not spefific reason to choose to this course. It was my childhood dream to become computer engineer. I cant say that the curriculum prepares for real world applications because I am just second year students. The exam conducted on semester basis and its not very difficult.

Placement Experience:

Placements at Jamia Millia Islamia are not too high or too low and depend on the branch. Students can apply for placements starting from their 7th semester. Big companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, and some startups come to recruit. The average salary offered is between 7 to 8 lakhs per year, but there are not many students who get higher packages. About 40 to 60 percent of students get placed. Many students also work on getting into higher studies or look for jobs outside the campus after they finish their degree.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course Curriculum for ECE in my clg is quite up to date and comprehensive, covering both core subjects and emerging areas of technology, which was a major factor in my decision to choose this branch. Course has a balanced theory with practical exposure, supported by great faculties guidance and well-maintained lab conditions. Also you get to choose the type of minor or specilaization you want to pursue after 1st year. Exams are conducted regularly after each semester, and levels are same as any engineering college would have.
