Remarks
The college has a good management system and supports the ventures of the students in academics as well as other aspects. Also the management takes care to keep in check that no activities that disturb the dignity of the college are taken place at any point of time and ensures a students friendly an supportive system throughout the semesters.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course has 8 semesters,each being 5 months long and we get a gap of one month after every semester. We also have 3 internal assessments conducted within the semester where the average of the marks are taken and then added to the marks scored in the external examination. The average marks that can be scored in the internal assessment is upto 20 while the external examination is conducted for 80 marks.
Placement Experience
Placements has never been a problem in our college. The dynamic group of placement officers headed by our placements dean have never failed to support the students to reach out or seek the jobs of their interests. Our placements offices conducts around 40-45 drives every year and around 500 students have got the job offers every year. Our college does provide on campus internships. As we have been instructed to complete a minimum of 2 internships the college has bought out various start ups as well as industries that provide on campus internships. It also has incubation centres for various startups and this internship are being conducted at every end of the semester.
College Events
The college along with the academics has been supporting various events conducted by and for the students. We conduct various events throughout the year. At first we have the freshers day where we welcome the freshers at the beginning of every freshman year. At the time of April we have the state level college fest called sentia where in students participate from across the state in various cultural and technical events. We also conducted the farewell day for the graduating batch every year. Then we also have a graduation day and alumni meet to keep in touch with the students that graduate from our college. And across the semester there are various events held.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is a feasible amount as the college fees is very less and the college does not take extra amount regarding the placements and other activities. The trainings held are free of cost. The college doesn't collect extra amount regarding the activities held in the college and also the hostel rent as well as the maintenance fee is also feasible.
Fees and Financial Aid
The college has successfully given out various scholarships and supported organizations that provide scholarships. This is a major help to the students as they can cut out their expenses and compensate for the college fees or even afford their academic needs. Also the college has partnered with various branches of banks the avail loan facilities to students.
Campus Life
The college supports various ventures of the students in addition to academics. We have a state level fest conducted every year and also students are allowed without any restrictions to participate in the cultural events held at various colleges. The Labs on our college are state of art infrastructure. Also the college encourages sports to the best of its ability . We have various sports team in our college such as cricket, hockey, football, volleyball ,handball etc.
Alumni/Alumna
Since the college conducts alumni meet every year it is helpful thor the students to stay in touch with their seniors and also the alumni network has helped the students very much regarding the career development as well as business analytics. This help to grow a sense of knowledge towards various industrial aspects and thus the alumnis help the students to seek out the areas of their interest and guide them in a proper way.
Faculty
The faculties in our college are a combination of both experience as well as fresh enthusiasts. They are very much involved towards the interests of their students and support the various ventures of the students in both academics as well as other aspects throughout the semesters. They are very careful on the followup of the students towards the syllabus and help improve our scores .
