Apart from the curriculum, the professors are very supportive of your own learning journey, and to boost learning, they made Coursera free for all students. As far as the real-world application is concerned, MIT has a number of student projects you can take part in and gain hands-on experience. The lectures are recorded and can be accessed by anyone, anytime.

havent got one yet (i just entered my second year) so i cant say anything about it but our seniors get internship in good government organizations and private firms all across India , even though most of them are throught their dad's connections but yeah almost anyone who tries gets an internship here

From your 7th semester you become eligible to get placed and it is mandatory to get internship before you get placed which the college helps you to get and around 400-500 companies visit, and a good amount of offers are made by them. The average package stands somewhere around 11LPA -12LPA and the highest goes to 50LPA-60LPA and the median stands around 9-10LPA.

Hello everyone, I will be sharing my honest review. So, I took admission in 2025 in B.Tech Mechanical Engineering. They took 10000 rupees for counseling, which was converted into a caution deposit, and I had to pay 525000 for my first year, which is common for all core streams (EXCEPT CSE). The following year, I had to pay 424000 as tuition fees. There are no hidden charges you need to pay. If you opt for hostels, you could be charged anywhere from 130000 to 250000. Mess fees are included in this. You can also opt not to take mess services. MIT offers many scholarships based on your need and merit. They also provide scholarships for girls in the core branches.

Tech Tatva and Revels are the major fests happens in MIT manipal happening around october and februrary respectively. the library is very well equipped with alot of books and they are very linient with the number of days you can borrow a book. Every class is equipped with Impartus which records every lecture and the professor provides notes and ppt in LMS. The MIT boasts a Synthetic football turf and running track along with basketball volleyball tennis , table tennis badminton squash and all major sports present.

Hostels are present in good numbers and ranges from Non AC to AC and deluxe rooms. The mess is pretty clean and hygienic and the food is actually good part about it if you choose FC 2 or any other mess apart from FC1 and annapoorna mess.

I personally chose this college because it gives an international exposure, as the college offers international faculty whom you can approach and get guidance, the research outlook is pretty much better than colleges like VIT and SRM

The faculty-to-student ratio is around 1:10, depending on your branch. The Faculties are well qualified and humble, except for 2 or 3 in each branch; they are very easy to approach and maintain professionalism at all times. The exams are not so easy and yet not so difficult; they are very serious when it comes to the exam, the students who fail can give makeup exams and get better grades. The exams are taken on a tablet, and you just need to carry your admit card and a pen. The exam is focused on what they teach and what they mention in the syllabus

There are a number of gyms present inside and outside the campus and the hostel timing for 1st years are 10:30 PM and 2nd year onwards 11:30 PM . MIT is situated near the coast so there are a number of beaches and clubs present here along side the beautiful jungles and temples of tulunadu and the local cusiene and culture plays a major part of keeping us entertained and it is pretty safe around here apart from the roads
