Likes

Student feedback taken which is very good from a student perspective
Infrastructure is good and up to the mark
Faculties are helpful in general and cooperative

Dislikes

Students voices are suppressed very often
Students cannot compain about any faculty because which they might face later in their semester marks
More value based subjects must be put into account

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum must be improved... And more subject based topics should be taken into the syllabus... Extra computer based classes must be arranged for the over all upliftment of the student and for their future job purposes

Fees and Financial Aid

I pay 43000 per semester fees for my degree and I've also got a scholarship in my 2nd semester for carrying good marks in my bachelor's degree. Moreover my university gives a top mark quality education, faculties are good

Campus Life

The campus life is boring and also kinda interesting at the same time... Club activities happen but not too often.. Students are generally busy on their own way....people are more often serious with their academic life rather than club activities

Admission

I choose this college specifically for the subject which i took international relations... This subject in west Bengal is only available in 2 colleges that is why i applied for this college . This college is not bad but not good either

Faculty

Faculties are move over not bad, but the course structure needs some improvement in its own... Value based subjects must be put into account... Students voices must nit be Supreeseed and must taken into account

Night Life

The night life of the college is kind interesting... Night time college life is peaceful.. Calm and pleasant. Students were seen generally in the basketball playground or at the library with friends chilling or sharing notes

The Pros and Cons of Joining Jadavpur University Masters of Arts in Economics

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for applying for internships after the 3rd semester, and students can apply for placements only after 4th semester. Companies like Ericsson, Ernst and Young, JPMG makes visits our department for mostly analyst roles for economic and fundamental trading decisions. The highest offer made was 45LPA while the average is 7.5LPA. The median pakage is 8LPA. Almost 90% students secure placements after completing their degree since the Training and placement cell is pretty proactive in securing good company visits. I plan for investing and analyst roles in banking companies. I would sit for placements hoping for the same.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because I had a keen interest in this subject. The faculty was very good, including the staff members and the academic teachers as well. The teachers were highly qualified and helped a lot in their studies. The exams were held timely under the supervision of the college staff members.

Placement Experience:

There were no campus placement. l have planned to be a teacher after completing this course. No company offers job in that campus. All the students have to struggle in their way for getting job.

Good College with Excellent teachers

Admission:

For pursuing Post graduation students never have to appear in any entrance examination. I passed my graduation from this college in the English department securing 65% of marks and hence choose this college for postgraduation as well.

Remarks:

The program of distance learning from University of Kalyani is the best Distance learning program at that I have ever come across. The distance program provides all of the facilities same as any regular program which makes it a wonderful option for all of the student who cannot afford to go to college regularly.

The untold voice of a Student.

Remarks:

I am both positive and negative marks started with positive the factories where very good well well qualified there is no ragging the environment is eco friendly people very helpful there is no senior junior bond everyone is equal. The negative were enormous starting with the infrastructure in some places there are new buildings halls which are not even maintained and that's the biggest problem facilities are not given to student in the hostel so much carelessness is there in the routine work people are very lazy to do their working time authority is very slow to do their workrecreational activities other than academics are very less a student didn't get the time for recreational and facilities were also not there I come modern infrastructure universities should be so we have to change this things to do the university prosper in the later year in the first and foremost thing is determination a that everyone should give efforts to make our university Pride and worthful.

Remarks:

Positive remarks are that its study process is very good, teachers are friendly and helpful... Seniors behave well to the students... College extra caricular activities are also pretty good.. Negetive remark is that it is far from urban areas.

Adamas University, The abode of learning

I had applied to IEM kolkata, The Neotia University and brainware university simultaneously. I chose this college due to the excellent placements. I didn't take admission to IEM kolkata as the fees were really high. Also, i didnt take admission in The Neotia University and brainware university due to their not-so-efficient placements.
