Remarks

I really liked how the college is growing as compared to other colleges of same category. Yes, I got rejected by few as my interviews didn't went well

Course Curriculum Overview

2

Strength of a class varies. It depends upon the number of students who chose a particular subject. The boy to girl ratio is around 6:4. The batch is culturally diverse. It has students coming from all across the country. There is a lot to learn from peers as everyone has a unique experience before MBA which adds up to the knowledge. Also there are marks exclusively dedicated to class participation which adds up in the final score. Yes students do attend classes for learning.

Internships Opportunities

2

Yes the college do provide 100% placements. Almost everyone in the batch gets a paid internship.

Placement Experience

2

Placement season starts from the start of the academic year. College provides 100% placements. Average CTC is around 15 lpa. Lowest being 10lpa and highest being 38lpa. Placement committee plays an important role in this and the process is 100% transparent.

Fees and Financial Aid

Tuition fees for a semester is 265000 and mess fees is 5000 per month. Apart from this, there are other expenses as well depending upon individual. There are several scholarships which is provided by the college and students can avail benefits of them

Campus Life

2

There is all the necessary sport facilities in the campus including gym, cricket ground, football ground, volleyball court, badminton court etc. There is a gym which has a trainer and all the required facilities and equipments. Campus don't have a swimming pool in it. The auditorium is really big and library has all the books available in it. College campus is around 250 acres in area. Hostels to academic block is around 600 metres. College has provided students with bicycles to travel. Since it's a green campus, cars and bikes are not allowed inside of the campus. Relatives can't stay in the campus overnight. There is a amul in the hostel area where students can order food. College do provides medical facilities and is sufficient for everyone in the campus.Campus life is great here. Everything in the college operates 24X7. Cafeteria, food joint are open till late night. Students often visit spots which are famous here as they are not too far. Campus is absolutely safe and is guarded by security guards. There is a annual fest called Sierra. Vibe during the events are irreplaceable. There are several clubs and committees including the placement committee, media committee, mess committee. There are no international students exchange programs as of now.

Hostel Facilities

2

Girls and boys hostel are different. Although they are not so far from boys hostel. There are 10 hostels block in total and all of them are similar and have same facilities into them. Hostel allocation is done on a random basis which is done by the institute only. Hostel fees is around 20k per month and there is only single occupancy hostels in the institute. There are no timings to enter or leave the hostel and fooding is not included in the hostel fees . Monthly costing of mess food is around 5k. Yes there is a different cafeteria in the campus where students can eat. Food quality is decent. All the hostels are properly guarded by a security guard There are only single occupancy rooms. There are all the necessary facilities in the hostels including ACs, wifi, almirah, chairs bed, study lamps and all the basic facilities. Every hostel has a common room which has a refrigerator and a washing machine. Washrooms are common and are cleaned regularly. Hostels rooms are cleaned daily. Three people share a washroom.

Exam Structure

The first step in the process is giving entrance exam which is CAT. after that a score is awarded based upon the marks scored in it. Colleges start releasing their lists and waiting lists. Colleges also conducts GD and PIs which are also a part of the admission process. A final score is prepared and students are provided with a final admission offer.

Faculty

1. The course curriculum is designed to help students gain fundamental understanding of the various functional areas of management like, finance, marketing, HR and operations. The difficulty level of the course curriculum is average. 2. The good aspect of the curriculum is that it allows one to get exposed to several crucial concepts of the management which are highly practical in nature. On the other hand, the bad aspect is that most of the curriculum is out dated and not focused on current developments. 3. The courses is divided into 4 semester (2 years). Each semester has 2 exams (minor and major). 4. Each day there are approximately 5-6 classes for the first 2 semesters and then in 3 semester 3 classes each day on an average and in the 4th semester only 2 classes. Timings are usually between (9 AM to 6 PM) from Monday to Friday. 5. The teaching methodology is usually PPT based lectures and sometimes there are case studies discussion. 6. I personally Admire Dr. Vishal Vyas and Dr. Gaurav Aggrawal (both finance faculties). The way they deliver lectures, engage students and teach each concept in depth allows students to gain deeper understanding of the finance domain. 7. Yes, there is a criteria for minimum 75% attendance in all subjects before minor and major exam. In case there is short attendance students need to fill undertaking form and consult with the concerned faculty. If the attendance is very short one will not be allowed to sit for the major exam. (One of my classmates got debarred from the major exam in the 2nd semester for short attendance).

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements in the final year. Big companies like Godrej, Tata etc come to the campus for placements, usually around March. Packages can go up to 15 lakh or even 20 lakh rupees depending on the firm and the individual. The placement is really good. There is 100% placement for courses like Biotech and MBA. No placement has occurred yet for Law because no badge has graduated as of now. My plans after graduating are to get a lawyer's job at a big corporate firm in the UK.
