Remarks

Basically I applied for this college to mainly for the location and surrounding. Well no doubt studies are good at here and even says few course as top class but a be genuine I chose this college for it's location and surroundings. I also applied and selected in Amity college Ranchi but later I dropped off and choose shoolini University as my college for further studies. Choosing this college over other is one main reason is surroundings and location with studies and courses. New generation course and very high reputation in research studies motivates me to choose shoolini University. No I haven't rejected from any other colleges or universities. For Admission process we have to call college admission number where they assist us with a mentor for admission. They will guide us for further admission process and anyone can ask any doubt to there distinguished mentor. For admission we have to clear Shoolini entrance exam which are good if anyone have basic knowledgeable hand on maths. 50% above marks required 12th for shoolini entrance exam and 60% marks required in cut off for shoolini entrance exam. Overall admission experience are very good and easy enough.

Course Curriculum Overview

2.5

30 students of combined seating in some classes. 16 students in my specialization, and 220 students in BBA 2nd year strength. 60:40 60 for boys 40 for girls Culture diversity are great and free. 60% are from different states mostly from Bihar jharkhand Uttar Pradesh and haryana Punjab. Peer group are almost same .. Yes I have marks in class participation but currently not present ti upload. Few subjects they genuinely attend for learning.

Internships Opportunities

1.5

Placement is nearly 100% in M master's branch. I'm 2nd year Student so don't no this much about their internship but intership stipend is nearly 10k in college. Most preferred companies for my courses is from IT business and software business companies focus.

Placement Experience

1.5

Final placement is good in master's branch but for Bachelors 70% placement. Placement committee have good role. But because still I'm on 2nd year I don't know about this very much in depth. But I there is good coming of companies for placement.

Fees and Financial Aid

My Fees per semester is 65000 and 20% scholarship which is 52000 per semester or 1,04,000 per year. tuition fees for my course Is 1.3 lac per year + 1300 there charges for per year and 10000 security money. Hostel fees are vary from 1.3 lac per year to 1.6 lac per for indian students. Transport charges is 3k per year under 10km range. Fees are little bit higher then other colleges. Student have to incurred there monthly personal expenses like sometimes eating outside, there necessities required daily life use products etc. Fees are very for himachal bonafide and non himachal bonafide students. Yes college provide scholarship and financial aids.

No single bed option Double bed 1.5 lac per year Triple Bed 1.3 lac From 8 am to 9 pm is free to come and go rest we have to take permission for go out for respective work Yes fooding include in hostel fees Yes each hostel have separate canteen area Menu changes at good pace and quality is average Yes hostel guarded with minimum 2 person with full security gadgets. No recent security threat. There 2 different sharing rooms of 2 & 3 bed sharing I choose 3 bed because of my friends They provided us Geyser, WiFi, Almirah, Study Table, Chairs, Beds, Mattress. All are basic to ok ok qualities. Yes we have common room with sofa set ,table , gaming sets etc. Both common and attached . Both room and washroom cleaned on 3 days a week. Sharing washroom with students depends on attached and common washroom. I have attached so we 3 people shares washroom. If no hostel then PG or seperate rooms are also available at different prices.

Exam Structure

For Admission process we have to call college admission number where they assist us with a mentor for admission. They will guide us for further admission process and anyone can ask any doubt to there distinguished mentor. For admission we have to clear Shoolini entrance exam which are good if anyone have basic knowledgeable hand on maths. 50% above marks required 12th for shoolini entrance exam and 60% marks required in cut off for shoolini entrance exam. Overall admission experience are very good and easy enough. Classes are starts from 1st week of August and mostly all admission process are done by June end or July mid . Shoolini entrance exam is preferred by most and score a number is more safe. No donation in any way .

Course Curriculum is relatively moderate in difficulty, as the course curriculum is outdated (both blessing and a curse), asa result there are plenty of resources available online to study from, Good Aspects is that everything is standardized without any experimental courses, bad thing is that our uni is delusional about the IT industry & the tech stacks, there are 2 mids (sessionals) each semester, One final exam per each semester, usually in one year (except final) you can expect around 10-12 courses and 4-5 labs, Teaching Methodology is Reading PDF aloud in class or Scrolling PPT or in worst cases, scrolling screenshots of Recorded YouTube videos of someone else, Usually classes are from 10-4 PM with one hour lunch break, Elective class is at evening that is 4-5PM in odd semesters, they have also introduced NPTEL Swayam MOOC elective courses now tho, Yeah the attendance rule is tight at 75% for guys and 70% for girls (5% relaxation for period leaves), you can put a medical/ NSS thing and manage with 60% total attendance, however it varies from HoD to HoD and department to department, I have friends with 70% attendance from a department who weren't allowed to given exams to friends with 10% attendance who gave final exams and passed all subjects, so a broad generalisation can't be done

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements in the final year. Big companies like Godrej, Tata etc come to the campus for placements, usually around March. Packages can go up to 15 lakh or even 20 lakh rupees depending on the firm and the individual. The placement is really good. There is 100% placement for courses like Biotech and MBA. No placement has occurred yet for Law because no badge has graduated as of now. My plans after graduating are to get a lawyer's job at a big corporate firm in the UK.
