Remarks
Several department have very good rules and regulations while some have very bad. The Electrical Department of the college is worse. CS, IT& ME Department are the best. Faculty is cooperative. Students can enhance their talent and nurture them. Attendence criteria is very hectic.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum of the college is as per the AKTU guidelines. It is a bit old and lagging with the current needs of the industries. Practical knowledge is not much focused upon. The exams are also conducted by AKTU. It is of 70 marks with conventional type subjective questions.
Placement Experience
The job opportunities in software industries is very good. But branches like Mechanical, Electrical and Civil engineering do not get sufficient placement. The college do not provide any internship. Only a few companies arrives for recruitment.
College Events
Tech Fest- Infotech In this the students get to show their innovation skills by implementing various projects, prototypes, etc. Social Fest- Epoque, Endeavor, Prastuti These fest are conducted as an opportunity for students to show up their natural talents like singing, dancing, etc.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is feasible. It is about 1.2-1.5 lpa for different years for academic and the hostel fee is separate which is about 80-90 thousands. Hostel facility is a bit expensive. So students are advised to take hostel outside the college.
Fees and Financial Aid
The scholarship is provided by AKTU to students whose parents yearly income is below 2 lpa. Apart from this, grant is provided to students for proceeding their innovation to business level. No loan facility is provided by college.
Campus Life
There are various extracurricular activities like singing, dancing, arts and crafts. Different clubs are organised for various activities. Lab are not well equipped. The assistance provided is also not upto the mark. Sports like cricket, football, badminton, etc also takes place.
Alumni/Alumna
The college is trying to maintain the alumni network and make the students connect to them. But the response is not good from both the alumni and the students. So I will say it is vain. Only few alumni come to address the students. For
Faculty
The faculty of certain department are good and supportive. But being a student of Electrical and Electronic Engineering I would say that the faculty are not supportive and lacks adequate knowledge and will to teach.
