What Students Say

Likes

Good facilities and faculties and experienced teachers
Low fees and no discrimination on the basis of caste
Friendly and supportive seniors and good classmates

Dislikes

Not good girl to boy ratio as it is 1:7 so not much female interaction
Classrooms are old fashioned and ac does not work
Lab machine's are old and sometimes not work properly

Course Curriculum Overview

In our college course curriculum is pretty basic but after the replacement of director some changes are being made so yes teaching methods are old fashioned but are improving day by day but the good thing is that teachers also teach us any topic from 0 meaning any type of student can understand it

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 117000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Well being in first year I don't know much about internship and all but yes our college don't provide much opportunities for internship as I have listened from my seniors so they apply by them self or by any reference.

Placement Experience

Highest package in our college is 50-60 lpa meanwhile average package is 7-8 lpa and many people don't even sit for placements as they have another plans like higher education or buisness but placement percentage is around 70 -80 percent

Fees and Financial Aid

General Category fees --- 117000 and all other castes is same but fw seats person pay less .We also have management quota in our college but they don't differ in fees as they also pay same amount of fees.I will be paying 10000 less next year as it is security deposit and fees will not be increasing next year in my knowledge.

Campus Life

Well in this segment i might not be able to tell you much as from now on our college has decided not to involve 1 st year students in any club activities but from what I have seen and listen for others we have many clubs and they provide good socialising skills

Admission

I also was looking for other private colleges like KIIT and GL Bajaj but due to low fees and decent average package I choose this college gcet and the addmission process is simple in our as they take students through uptac counseling

Faculty

Our college is now assigning a mentor to half of class meaning 37 students so 1:37 is the ratio for faculty to student . Sessional exams are of 40 marks meanwhile put of 70 marks and then at last we have university exam of 70 which makes our overall cgpa

Night Life

Well as I'm staying in a hostel 4-5 km away from college so I don't know much about it but yes hostelers enjoy at night as they have canteen in walking distance and also a mall right after the college gate and it is pretty safe as many female students also live there so security is tight

Other Applied Colleges

Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology - [KIIT] | Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Computer Science and Engineering)

Fee's is very high

Overall Feedback for College - Admission , Placement , Course , Faculty , Events

Likes

the security is nice at my college like proper cctv and guards , apart from that labs , and my dept is too good. Ac classroom and labs
They have provided average placement like most of companies are mass hiring like tcs and accenture ..and only few companies come to offer big package
Infrastructure is good but there is need of reconstruction at some places the water is ticking in rain season continuously, and curriculum is okay okay not that much relevant to industry , they taught text books rather than the real practical cases

Dislikes

The examination checking - the student who is cr or having any relation with teachers got highest marks without writing the answer properly
The food canteen first of all the canteen is off from the past 1 or 2 year and now it reopen but it sells dirty food , waste foods
The college professor support , they are not that much supportive

Course Curriculum Overview:

coding I am interested in coding that why I offer this course It provide some courses but not all courses are related to real world they have to use practical examples and make students aware of the real industry According to me the time and frequency is okay of exam

I have applied for Bihar State Nalanda college, chandi. It gave me aerospace engineering. I didn't choose that because their course curriculum with their faculties and college culture is not fit for getting placement. I wanted some placement oppurtunities through my college and GCET is suitable for it because of their location and college culture. My admission process of my college is through direct admission as well as UPTAC counselling. Direct admission is for those who have low JEE ranks and outside of UP and are early comers. Counselling is for merit based admission for UP students generally with better JEE ranks than direct admission students....Read More
