Course Curriculum Overview

The college is one of the top colleges in Karnataka and proud to be Alumni. The course and faculty are stupendous and very helpful.

Placement Experience

4.5

The placements and job opportunities are high and many companies recruit from that college.

College Events

All the festivals are celebrated whether hindu, muslim or christian it doesn't matters.

Fees and Financial Aid

As I got scholarship, I didn't go for loan.

Campus Life

The Campus life, Gender Ratios, diversity, how good were extracurricular, labs, sports, competitions, like robotics, debates are awesome. The staffs encourage a lot.

Alumni/Alumna

The Alumni network is very good and still most of them meet once a while even they are far from that place.

Likes

They have highly qualified and experienced teachers.
For a sports enthusiast like me, having a ground is great in college is great.
There are various types of events conducted very often which provides us exposure academically, culturally, socially and it also helps our social networking and connections.

Dislikes

I think infrastructure can be improved and maintained well, than it is now.
Placement services should be improved too.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose BCom because I was a commerce student in my PUC, and I wanted to master in the same field. This course has shaped my knowledge on accounts and finance which has been some sort of a passion for me. Accounts, tally, finance, are the studies that are to be applied by anyone who's working with numbers, finances or in banks, account sectors etc which I'm doing currently, and it has really helped me a lot. The only improvement in this course that I seek is practical applications and workshops that would definitely help students enhance their skills.

Maybe the management because most of the lecturers were replaced
It would be better if we would have a separate playground
More canteen as there are only 2 and it gets crowded

Students are eligible for campus placements after the 5th semester many banking and educational institutions have visited our college and our institution also conduct's programs like job fair which helps the students in placement and internship opportunity maybe higher education after getting the degree

The honest review

I had applied to st Joseph's college of Commerce in mysore. I did not get rejected from that college and the fees is same as it is in st philomena's that is 45000 per year including all other expenses. I did not go there as they did not provide acca with bcom they had only cma and ca along with bcom. The admission process in my college is quite simple and easy they guide with every step. They take in all students who has around 50% marks in puc and they give cut offs if someone score more than 75% in the second puc examination...Read More
