Likes
- Our campus is ragging free,teachers are supportive.teacher is to student ratio is quiet appreciatable as there are around 60 to 70 student in case of cse and 40 to 50 in case of ece course. Female teacher are very beautiful like actresses and models.
- Behind our college there is very beautiful mountain range.Infact the whole city is a valley surrounding by many mountain ranges. On every Holiday our whole class use to go hiking. There is very much greenry in my campus.
- Labs are well maintained and are open to use any time you want.
Dislikes
- Girls is to boys ratio is vary low. Many male teachers including HOD and director.
- The area is vary much disturbed due to regular voilance break out between communities. The are internet suppensions without any restarting date.
- Seniers in this college are fools and idiot. Drugs are easy available in this area which also with cheapness
Internships Opportunities
internship are available but aren't availed by most of the students but college try ist best to do so, a student has hiher probability of getting offcampus internships their are project making competions and assighment involving research and project making.
Placement Experience
Students are eligible for employment after 4th year or we can say after or during 8 semester. And intership are made available after 3rd year. Many companies come to the campus including both MNC'S and indian companies. For CSE branch Minimum package is 8 LPA Mean package is 11 LPA Highest package is 45 LPA For ECE branch minimum package is 6 LPA Mean package is 9 LPA Highest package is 10 LPA Highest package is regularly given by amazon. TCS plays a role of mass recruter in yhe college.
Fees and Financial Aid
My college 1 semester fee is around 130000 And hostal fees in 50000 per semester Fees i mention above is for general and obc student(if they can't avail scholarship) . Fees will be less in case of reservation(special sc and st)student around 50 percent of mention aboved. College have patnership with SBI and canara bank so it is easy to avail education loan. Here no scolership is available for your college performance or on your jee rank.(this feature is available in most of the govt. college).
Campus Life
Here fest's are unlike to happen as most of the time situations are not good in surrounding area. But there are some fests like Annual fest, Technical fest and Freshers party.But here too with many restrictions. There are no DJ nights in the college. Extracurricular activites are also available here but that dosn't satisfies our expectations.Here you can find 2 vollyball ground,1 football ground, 2 badmintan court, 1 basketball court,1 TT table.and one open gym. Clubs exist here but they only operates on whatsapp group ,they are total waste of time so it is prefered to focus on studies. In library you can find a limited amount of books.Which too are a part of semester syllabus.
Hostel Facilities
Hostals are very well mentained and beautiful.there is only one problem that our hostals are not available in college campus,it is in residential area so we can't have so much of fun and enjoyment. hostal mess food is bad like that of other government college.
Admission
I aimed for IIT Madras, but bcoz of my ill performance in JEE Advanced ,i couldn't qualfy that ,and through jee mains rank i came to this college,..This college was not that bad.This is overall good in all the perspectives like placements ,campus location,and many more thing. But there is some drawbacks like college infrastructure as the college is operating from its temprary campus. If you are getting any NIT other then NIT's of north east you should opet that college despite of branch. But you Want to study specificly CS or ECE and you are ready to compramise your college then you are welcome. It is batter to opet this college if you are not getting any another NIT or IIIT.It is batter then other GFTI's ,state government college and private college.
Faculty
Faculty to student ratio is quiet impressive. There are 4 sections And 1 teachers teaches only 2 sections.and in case of CSE there are around 60 to 70 student in each section.And for ECE branch there are 40 to 50 student in each batch. So sudent is to teacher ratio is more batter in case ECE branch. CSE and English Professor is best among all and maths Professor is worst. There are regular exam in each month . There are 3 assessment paper of 25 each and one end semester paper of 100 marks and 25 marks left are of internals which are given by teachers or we can say Professors. And there is 75 percentage criteria which is strictly followed in the college.
Night Life
Nightlife is zero fpr this college or we can say Night life don't exist.Not only in college the whole city gets close before 9 o clock. There is a open GYM in college and you can also find a GYM ijust outside the college. there are only very limited opens of food outside the college. cafeterias exist in college but don't reaches our expectation. You need to come to hostal before 9 daily or otherwise you will be fined. While outside the campus you can't have fun because the area is vary serius, so you need to take care of your self.
