Campus is really huge and all facilities which are provided is really good

Dislikes

There's nothing i dislike overall its a very good experience to spend my four years in this college

Course Curriculum Overview

The courses provided to study are very useful and concentrated on future developments and are very useful for real world applications which is very useful to adapt ourselves to coming problems and help them to solve

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 375000 per year

Internships Opportunities

I am 3rd sem student so i really dont know how the interships work at college but as my seniors ha e told me the process is very long but worthy for the time spent is really worth and i have no idea for the same

Placement Experience

From 6th semester students are eligible for placements if there cgpa is high or else they will be eligible from the 7th semester. Around 200 companies attend the campus drive namely tata infosys amazon and many more.

Fees and Financial Aid

I have come through management so the year - wise fee i pay is 3.75 lakh for CSE and the fee structure would be different for other courses So the fee I pay is totally worth and they provide internships and placement opportunities .

Campus Life

The events are really a joyful experience and the events are a one time experience . the range of books available in library is really vast and useful for us in many ways . they encourage us for extracurricular activities.

Admission

This was college was my first choice and only choice because the seniors who studied here were my friends and gave me a good review and changed my opinion which made this college my first priority to join.

Faculty

Faculties are very jovial and friendly they support us in every aspect which will help us to focus on our studies . In every semester there will be a subject will be difficult to clear but our lectures help us to find solutions to our problems.

Interview Experience

As i was admitted to the college by management there was no exam or such but gave a small interview to the staff and it was not so difficult it was very easy and they some gk questions. Overall a good experience

Night Life

Cafeterias are really good and the food available is average . i do not stay in hostel so i really dont know how the experience . the places to hangout near college is near to zero and the locality is safe to rosm around at night

Good Infrastructure and Career Opportunities

Likes

Yes the first thing I liked is the campus and the environment there is no harrasment and strict action will be taken.
And second thing is faculty members are so helpful and they always help to students and different festival
And also the campus provide all facilities and make helps to sports and ration is almost equal of boys and girls

Dislikes

Yes some things are there which I disliked first is the campus is very strict and no function are organised yearly ones or twice is very sad thing as compared to other campus
Second thing is food students facing some problem with the food which hear prepared so outsiders facing lot of problems
Third is about hostel facility is good but very strict only once a week the students should go out side and write leave letter to go there native places.

Placement Experience:

Students got opportunity to eligible after 3rd year mainly in 7th semester students get opportunity for campus interview. In my college the company which came to hire is congizent and microsoft and amezon and dell nearly 80 to 90 company are came. The company offers is highest is 40 lack per annum which google provide and minimum is 4lack . Mainly 80 percent of the students are placed every year but due to war happened in the global impact in placement I want to do masters in abroad and then go to the company

Likes

very first thing i like in the college is the wifi network,
the library which is very peace and silent
average places to take photos and nearby there is nandi hills to visit

Dislikes

i dislike the distance of the college, its too large, should walk soo much
the cost of stationaries in the general store
i dont think so faculy are that much expertise , only countable people worth it

Course Curriculum Overview:

see i have choosed this course because it is very relatable to CSE, coz my ranking was not sufficient to get this course. the course which i took "Information Science and Engineering" is really a good course. they make us real world engineers. the area they shld actually improve is, hiring worthable faculty.

Dislikes

Hostel building is too bad. And hostel food is too bad.
There is no field to play games like cricket, football.

Placement Experience:

After 8 sems we are eligible for placements. TCS ,Dell and many companies visited mvj. Highest package of mvj was 22lakhs per annum. Basically some companies ask CGPA at above 8. My plan is a developer after my engineering in python language or Else I will continue my dad business

Insights of the Gopalan college of engineering and Management by a First Year Student

Likes

Canteen is fine has nice and tasty food and quite a lot of options
Library is also good has every book related to my course and few others as well
Lab facilities are also very nice and the college has a nice crowd

Dislikes

It's nothing like I expected, they don't let students use the ground or turfs. Facilities are pretty bad.
They charge money for everything and has zero facilities for college students. Everything is for there school students.
College is very small and the faculties are rude to students. (Mostly the case)

Placement Experience:

Student are eligible for placements from there 7th semester but I wouldn't recommend relying on college for placements. Not many companies come to this college so placements are really bad. If u have skills it would be better to apply to companies on your own. I don't have details on how many students gets placed but as much as I know it's about 30-50 % And average package is also very low. I plan of gaining skills and certification on my own and job hunting myself in 4th year through my connections and internships. Or maybe go abroad for masters As I'm a first year student I don't know much about which companies come and how much they offer.

We have a temporary campus .which was taken as rent in goverment engeneering college raichur .and permanent campus was yet to finish by the time juniors come the permanent campus will be getting finished.just needed the proper campus no improvments
The campus life was not as expected by a student because here the cluns are not very active like in any other colleges , u can enjot a lot with your friends in your hostel.
Every branch has a faculty adviser we can meet them and discuss our problems with them .the faculry were very good they were well experienced ,they teach in general way as any teacher does on a digital board.

Dislikes

The placement cell is not that good , the students were not getting places for good amount of package as expected .
The labs were not well maintained that should be resolved that is the main problem in this college as well as library we have a very small library which is in a size of a regular class
Hostel was not within the campus which makes some difficulty to walk through the streets with roaming buses and cars and bikes , in our college boy girl ration was very less it is 1: 7 like that.

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester students are eligible for taking interships and they get placed in 7th semester and have to leave campus after 8th semester the highest would somewhere aroubd 20 lpa and avg would be 9 to 10 lpa . I plan to do Mtech in any reputed college by writing gate . The percentage of studebts getting placed are 70 %
