Remarks

One of the best college in terms of quality eduction. Infrastructure is good. But college should provide many more opportunities to the students talented at various fields And must include many programs out of academics.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course I have opted does help me secure good job opportunities in the upcoming days. Exam structure is similar as all other vtu college's Wherein we have 3 internals each of 30 marks + 10 for assignment and activities And 60 marks from external vtu board exams

Placement Experience

It does offers internship. Visit the website vtuinternships.com wherein you can see our college. And when it comes to placement our college tops among many colleges wherein maximum students from almost all branches get placed in various companies but with an average package.

College Events

3.5

We have our college fest named chiguru. This is one of the best fest wherein students get hell lots of opportunities to show up their talents in various events and on the day of chiguru there will be a road show of bikes DJ night and many such events wherein students can enjoy to the fullest. Intuit is a annual program of showcasing projects done by students of all semesters . Like vise many such events are organised at citech

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is not too expensive or feasible it's intermediate like any other vtu college's . For those who come through kcet the college fee is 35k(excluding the cet fee). And it varies when it comes to comedk or other competitive exams. Management seats here may cost around 3 lakh.

Fees and Financial Aid

College only gives us information about various scholarship we can avail in the due course of our studies. Wherein for mba students The top 3 students annual fee would be waved off by the institution itself.

Campus Life

We have a well facilitated laboratories with excellent faculties. Our college do support sports where in we have our college teams of various sports like cricket kabbadi football etc. Who attend intercollege sports competitions.

Alumni/Alumna

There are alumini students who do come to the college during various occasions and speak about our college. It isn't truly helpful to us because they just share their memories and not anything much informative. But seniors at 3rd and 4th year are highly supportive in making mini projects and many other things required for placements.

Faculty

Faculty here are very friendly and are well versed in what they are teaching. They help students understand the concepts clearly and also support us in extra curricular activities. We can do contact any faculty through various means since we will be having their mail Id and numbers. Overall they are student friendly

And also the campus provide all facilities and make helps to sports and ration is almost equal of boys and girls

Dislikes

Yes some things are there which I disliked first is the campus is very strict and no function are organised yearly ones or twice is very sad thing as compared to other campus
Second thing is food students facing some problem with the food which hear prepared so outsiders facing lot of problems
Third is about hostel facility is good but very strict only once a week the students should go out side and write leave letter to go there native places.

Placement Experience:

Students got opportunity to eligible after 3rd year mainly in 7th semester students get opportunity for campus interview. In my college the company which came to hire is congizent and microsoft and amezon and dell nearly 80 to 90 company are came. Insights of the Gopalan college of engineering and Management by a First Year Student

Likes

Canteen is fine has nice and tasty food and quite a lot of options
Library is also good has every book related to my course and few others as well
Lab facilities are also very nice and the college has a nice crowd

Dislikes

It's nothing like I expected, they don't let students use the ground or turfs. Facilities are pretty bad.
They charge money for everything and has zero facilities for college students. Everything is for there school students.
College is very small and the faculties are rude to students. (Mostly the case)

Placement Experience:

Student are eligible for placements from there 7th semester but I wouldn't recommend relying on college for placements. Not many companies come to this college so placements are really bad. If u have skills it would be better to apply to companies on your own. I don't have details on how many students gets placed but as much as I know it's about 30-50 % And average package is also very low. I plan of gaining skills and certification on my own and job hunting myself in 4th year through my connections and internships. Or maybe go abroad for masters As I'm a first year student I don't know much about which companies come and how much they offer.

An honest review

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I'm in 1st semester. I will update you after my exams. But one good thing is that from this year, internals and externals will hold same weightage i.e., 50/50 If you can score more than 45% in internals which wouldn't be that big of a deal because they'll ask most the questions from class notes. Most of the faculties are average I would say. But some are good professors too. I chose CSE because I find these topics interesting since junior school. And everyone is just jumping into cse is a reason too lol.
