Placement Experience

7 th semester students become placement eligible. Ongc,Quest Global,oil come for placements. Highest Package Of 18Lpa Is Offered By Ongc Whereas Minimum Package Of 13-14 Lpa By Quest Global. My next plan is to appear for competitive exams

Fees and Financial Aid

The Total Fees Structure Of Our University Is 3-4 Lakhs For The Complete 4 Years Whereas The Examination Fees Per Semester Is Around 1900 Rupees Since The Past Few Years There Has Been Not Any Kind Of Increase In Fees.

Campus Life

Auxesis-March Petrofest-February Petroverse-February Wide Range Of Books Available Less Technologies In Classromm Wide Range Of Extra Curriculars Offered By The Campus. Cultural Groups,Ethnic Associations,Student Union, Club Such As Photography Club And So On.

Hostel Facilities

Our hostel room is double seater with two beds ,two tables ,two chairs and a fan and a plug point. Meal is okay okay and they give Puri in morning rice in lunch , snacks in evening and a protein rich dinner everyday. Hostel seat is highly merit and quota basis...they have to report to Indira miri for registration. I never rented room or pg.

Hostel Fee: INR 2900 per year

Admission

There are no colleges did you apply to and I Chose This College Because This College Is Nearby To Me. They Take Admission On The Basis Of Assam Cee And Then Theyjave Specific Reservation Quota. They Also Consider Jee Score.

Faculty

The faculty-to-student ratio is 1:30. the faculty to student relationship is good and the faculties are very much approachable. Their exams are moderate in nature.10-15 students fail to clear the exams

Night Life

A chapter of growth, my college life

Course Curriculum Overview:

See I had the passion for civil since my 10th std. I am really happy about my course . Because there are many job opportunities in govt sector in Assam. I like the teachers of my dept but some are not that friendly . Maybe it depends upon their mood sometimes I don't know really . The civil course is practical it's enjoyable. I would have liked it more if it would had more placement opportunities on campus . Otherwise it's fine

The placement is quite good in my college. In 7 th semester the placements start and the package goes from 16lpa to 2 cr . About 75 percent student who applied got placed . I want to work in a software firm.

GOOD COLLEGE FOR GOOD PEOPLE

Placement Experience:

In the 4th year, 2nd sem students become eligible for campus interviews and placements. Some big and some companies like Attra infotech and other small companies visited and made offers. This 8 lakh package is the highest. Maximum of 60% of students are getting placements. I am planed to work in tech Mahindra company as a junior engineer.

Remarks:

The college facilitates good infrastructure with spacious libraries, laboratory and playing grounds. It also provides a good faculty with years of experience and degree holders from different universities.

Remarks:

The main negative thing is the college is far away from Guwahati city and the transportation service is not good and the university is also situated on the top of hill , so climbing every day mountain is so painful for legs.

Remarks:

Its a good college. I feel lucky to read on this college. They faculty, the facilities is nice. The environment of the college is very good for education. The management cell of the college is also do grat jobs. But the main problem I have found is placement. According to the other colleges the placement of this college is not so good. If the college can give more placement then it will become a great college. Overall its a great college full of knowledge.
