What Students Say

Likes

Curriculum need to be changed as there is no difference in college rules and school rules
faculties are biriliant in teaching and are well qualified
infrastructure is very good as in hilly area infrastructure is not much good

Dislikes

mess food of this college is not much good and average quality
some faculties are not very good in nature and behaviour
they don't provide us attendance for participating in college events

Course Curriculum Overview

course curriculum is great as per me because we often get assingment and theories classes for every subjects very ofenly. there is no need of improvement in teaching and in curriculum. our exam are held thrice in a semester.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 235000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

There are 2 types of payment yearly and half yearly. method of paying the fees will be by upi, card, netbanking and cash. hostel fees is 90,000 yearly and 40,000 per semester as 5,000 is for security deposite.

Campus Life

Basically our college have 2 types of annual fest student grafest and official grafest. official grafest is held in the month of june and student grafest is held in the month of october. All types of books are availabe in library.

Admission

i have applied for 2 universities uttaranchal and Dit. i choosed this college because those 2 college were very far from my home and i some of my cousine has also studied from this collage so they guided me to get here.

Faculty

faculty to student ratios is uneven as we have more sections and less faculties. relationship of students with teachers are good but not u=much becaus some faculties are helfull but not good in nature like they more agressive

Night Life

our college got a pretty nice gym where we have many kind of equipments and have almost every type of machine for every bodypart. gym, library and cafeteria opens in morning and close 8:30 at night. morning shecdule is for 1st and 2nd year boys form 5:00 AM to 7:30AM and evening scedule is for 3rd and 4th year student from 4:30PM to:630PM after 6:30PM all year girls time starts and end after 8:30PM.

A Well-Rounded B.Tech Journey with Good Infrastructure, Supportive Faculty, and Growing Career Opportunities

Likes

Faculty members are generally qualified and approachable, and students can seek help with academics and projects.
students should supplement the university curriculum with industry certifications, coding practice, internships, GitHub projects and real-world development work.
There are cultural events, technical activities, clubs, sports and other extracurricular activities. Hostel students can participate fairly actively in campus events.

Dislikes

The main improvement I'd look for would be more advanced, industry-standard laboratory equipment and greater practical exposure.
I couldn't find a reliable current official university figure for the overall girls-to-boys ratio.
The ratio can also differ substantially between CSE, other engineering branches and the university as a whole.

Placement Experience:

Haridwar University provides regular campus-placement opportunities across IT, core engineering and other sectors. The university reports strong overall placement activity, but programme-wise salary and placement data are limited publicly, so students should ask for CSE-specific statistics before admission.

Likes

I like the college curriculum and study materials and teaching style of the teachers . Some teachers are impressive and their teaching style is too good .
Campus life is not much engaging but we usually spent our time in studying only . Also for attendance there is not much more criteria but some teachers are very strict in taking the attendance.
Faculties are full of experience and knowledge. They are approachable online and offline too but after the class.

Dislikes

I don't like the placement system in my college because the students studying in 2nd year do not get any exposure of placement . There is placement cell in our college but not very active .
Infrastructure is good but it should be spread in a more big acres . My wish was to get into IIT Kharagpur that's why I am asking for big campus .
Overall curriculum and research based approach of the campus is good. They just give projects to the seniors and seniors work is to dictate us about the project and helps us in building different types of project.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The main aspects that motivates me to choose this college is the GFTI'S colleges . Because my father suggest me that govt. Colleges seeks more companies that's why I choose this college . But truth is totally opposite from the reality. Real world application based projects is just given by the teachers in every semester but we students copy it and give it to them from the gpt. College timing should be more less we have to study from 10 am to 5 p.m. Timings of exams are of 3 hrs only in semester . Difficulty level is moderate.

Graduation- Best time of life.

Likes

The campus of the university is beyond beautiful and homely. Participation in college and university societies paves way for an all rounder development of the students. Facilities like CCF internet facility) is quite commendable.
Good Placements offered also encourage better future prospects. The library of the university is next level. Kisan mela held two times a year feels like another celebration for the university people.
Events held in the university with amazing artists offer exposure as well as a unique way to keep the entertainment alive amongst the youth.e

Dislikes

The hostel rules were rigid especially the entry timings of the girls hostel. The rigidity to take leave by getting it signed by various officials first had been an issue. Although, this was when i was graduating, things might have changed by now.
The stringent hostel rules were quite difficult to cope with. The strict checking at the university gates though might seem good as per the security but seem harsh sometimes.
Teaching methods could be made more progressive and technical with time paving way for more practical knowledge. Infrastructure could also be given a push.

Placement Experience:

In final year of btech companies start coming. Maximum students of CSE and IT get placed. Package is min. 3.2Lacs CTC. Both mass recruiters and startups take part in the placement drive. A good number of students get placed. But maximum students of our college opt for higher studies like appearing for GATE, GRE, CAT exams. Further students indulge in preparation for govt services like UPSC, Defence.

A candid review of my 3 years over graphic Era hill University Bhimtal.

I applied for the graphic Era hill University Dehradun, which is one of the branch of our university but however the placement and curriculum was almost same that's why I choose the campus which is close and next to me. As of regections, I did not get rejection due to limited application for colleges. The admission is quite easy where you need to submit the documents like marksheet, medical certificate, transfer and migration certificate, and a sum of fee to get your confirmation on admission. There is 1500 registration fee to get your seats confirmed for the selected course. Well there is no specific criteria for cut-off....Read More

My College Experience

I had to choose this college as I was very late for an admission and this college was providing me a seat even after 4 months of admission date. I didn't apply for any other college as I was preparing for JEE Mains and Advanced. I was not rejected from any other college, I just didn't scored enough to get an admission. For admission in my college, they simply ask you some questions (interview sort of) and tell you the fees structure and then you can opt easily for your desired course. The eligibility criteria is 10+2 result, they also see your CUET score and JEE score before the admission. Admission experience was good....Read More
