Course Curriculum Overview

4

I'm from a town where the petroleum industry is main source, so I saw everything from my childhood amd this help me to gain interest in this field so I decided to take admission into Petroleum Engineering. In North East region of India, Dibrugarh University is the only institute to offer Bachelors in petroleum Engineering, so I choosed this institute.

Fees and Financial Aid

I pay 132000 per year. The tuition fees is 110000, hostel fees is 22900. The fees structure is for all categories are same. But it avail scholarships, scholarships like government scholarship and all. For example, NSP Ishan Uday and other Scholarships.

Campus Life

4

I have spent 4 months in this institute till now. The experience is very amazing till now, I attended 5-6 cultural programs and the environment of the university is good for academics, overall the environment is very nice.

Hostel Facilities

4

I'm a hostel boarder of this institute. I personally feel very nice when I got allotted a hostel. Hostel facilities are good. Good environment for night studies. Hygienic mess and they serve properly.

Admission

I choosed this college just because this is the only institute in all over the North East region tof India to offer Petroleum Engineering bachelors. That's why I choosed this institute over other institutions.

Faculty

4

The faculty ratio is 1:10, I'm not sure but I guess it is. There are a few faculty members I like most just because of their friendly behaviour with me and I also give them respect, they help me a lot and encourage me to do something good and different.

Interview Experience

4

No, there is a counselling on the basis of CEE and JEE marks was held and we got admission through this counseling and there are some seats for endowment which are filled if anyone interested otherwise the seats will vacant.

Night Life

4

Night life not so much enjoyable but also not so much boring. There is a gym, a indoor stadium, a few canteens amd cafeterias which offers a delicious menu. You can hangout with your friends, celebrate parties and all.

Course Curriculum Overview:

See I had the passion for civil since my 10th std. I am really happy about my course . Because there are many job opportunities in govt sector in Assam. I like the teachers of my dept but some are not that friendly . Maybe it depends upon their mood sometimes I don't know really . The civil course is practical it's enjoyable. I would have liked it more if it would had more placement opportunities on campus . Otherwise it's fine

Its a good college. I feel lucky to read on this college. They faculty, the facilities is nice. The environment of the college is very good for education. The management cell of the college is also do grat jobs. But the main problem I have found is placement. According to the other colleges the placement of this college is not so good. If the college can give more placement then it will become a great college. Overall its a great college full of knowledge.
