- as a women the university is very safe, the university is clean,hyginic and provides good sanitation,the faculty ia very good ,the professors are great ,the course ia affordable 'the entrance and admission into the university is easy,
- the bachelor programme is year based,so you have enough time to learn /develop extra curricular skills along with college,
- the faculty is well educated and professors are with phd degrees but they preffer old teaching methods
Dislikes
- the infrastructure is poor,there's no ground facilities ,no sports are practiced the university discourages sports and other activities
- the university provides no exposure, no placements and other job opportunies and campus placement, no grop discussions and researches are practised
- the college does not provide any skills and ideas except from bookish knowledge ,the university can be a bad option for anybody with an innovative mind
Course Curriculum Overview
i come from avery poor background and poor household ,the affordability of the course lured me into taking admission in this course,the course provides basic bookish knowledge, the course provide no practical knowledge and skills except from necessary lab activities, the course provides no internship no placement and no skill training , the corse can be improved if th ecorse become instilled with skill enhancement, placements and internship
Fees and Financial Aid
himachal pradesh university is state university where education fee is minimal . the university also provides subsidy in various disciplines,my early tution fee was 2600 registration fee is 2500,exam fee is 700 , in bsc and in msc the lab fee is 500 per year,students from sc,st categories have reserved seats and have avery minimal fee about 1800 theres no reserved seats for any other minority except for sc/st
Campus Life
there is no social clubs except from nss and cultural club,sfi and nssui which are very political in general for bsc course you're preffered to study and make presentations but if you opt for other courses the college there are various functions ' activties and vists, no social life and no social clubs
Hostel Facilities
the hostel is avaialable only for boys the hostels are good and spacious and the food in mess is great and availability of water and light hostel services are good overall as i am a women i know very less about hostel as there is no hostel service for girls
Admission
i applied for nerby government degree colleges neaby my house,i chose this college because of affordibility reasons, i took admission in this course because of covid pandamic , i didnt applied to other colleges as i was a neet aspirant back then, the college selection is based upon merit,also to apply to this corse you need to fill application prospectus, the university approves of the application form and afterwards you are required to register yourself with rme portal
Faculty
the faculty to student ratio is very bad, there's one professor for one corse and the same is responsible for lab activities dr.shweta sharma who teaches zoology is a great profeesor,she is true to the students and encorages skills over cramming books.the teacher forces us to do private internships and also guids us about government schemes regarding the feild jobs and student help and education etc
Night Life
there is gym but the gym is very small and not spacious , the library has no books , libraries and not updated annualy the hostel are only for boys , no hostel for girls , the college has hospital nearby which is a plus point. no ground facilities ,th infrastructure is bad overall, classes are conjusted and no hangout places nearby,
