Likes

Garden is small but provides some peace in free time with surrounding greenary
Infrastructure of auditorium is good and eye-catching
Lectures are good and practical labs like dissection hall

Dislikes

Overcrowding in some of the lecture gallaries
Library have books but are of older Edison
Some issues regarding washrooms and water supply

Course Curriculum Overview

Curriculum is aligned with NMC guidelines. Every faculty has their own way of teaching.Some are very good at teaching and interacting.some you may not feel in that way.research opportunities are available for students

Class Size: 200Course Fees: INR 15000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Tution fee -15000(remains same for every year) Hostel fee-20,000(30000 for 1st year) Mess fee 130/day Examination fee-1800 For books it's around 10,000 For allotment order 10600 There will be other expenses like marks memo fee-100 Aprons, uniform and other essential things

Campus Life

College day will be celebrated every year. Freshers party is also celebrated. There are some clubs run by students Has opportunities to participate in intermedics sports compititions between colleges Many compilation like debate, poster making are conducted.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel has facilities like geyser,washing machine,gym,study rooms with AC Mess food is good except for some curries and other issues Rooms are provided with 2-5beds and 2 study tables for rooms with 4-2 beds Freshers are given common halls and rooms with 5 beds

Admission

Guntur medical college being associated with government general hospital which is one of the largest hospital in the state provide wide range of clinical exposure and interaction with patients.labs, cadaver, clinical posting helps to correlate theory with practical knowledge

Faculty

The faculty are experienced and highly qualified and approachable. Every 15 students will be allotted with a mentor through out the course.You can approach them if you face any difficulty.It is a Five and half year course. Internal exams are conducted with a intervel of 3 months.2 internal,1 prefinal and some pct are conducted

Night Life

Hostel has gym facilities and every batch is allotted with particular timing in the evening and morning. Library have books, journals it is open till 9pm You will be given access to e-library where you can find many e-books and journals

A college with full fun joy and knowledge a place where we can enjoy study and make friends

Likes

Things I liked are cultural activities here we have multiple cultural activities to join like skit dance sing bands or GitHub and poster presentations and what not along this there’s no discrimination in person to person mainly There’s no RAGGING
NO RAGGING and no partial discrimination in between students or faculty
Good faculty nice education and I made good friends from different departments

Dislikes

Assignments as a nursing student I obviously dislike assignments
Weekly exams to check our knowledge it’s good but as a student nope
Thats it Ntng much ig yeh rules rules and regulations are so strict but important

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are main thing why everyone choose MBU For btech or medical education every department has nice placements for example for nursing our average package starts from 40-50k as a fresher and for btech it 1.5l per annum and well we will be having even abroad opportunity's and more

Likes

I liked the understanding of students with other student,good environment,no ragging,eco friendly environment and no harms from seniors to
Good understanding of teaching teachers staff with students, understanding staff are present expecially who teaches us
No over pressure regarding study or timings to class

Dislikes

The hod behaviour very harsh ,they doesn't try to understand the feelings
Very less holidays to home only during the semister and during festivals like Dusshera and sankranti they give only 2 to 3 days which is very less for the students who come from our of State
The hostel food is not good ,the menu is same for continuous 3 years

Placement Experience:

Mostly from 3 year ending i guess no company visited, almost 45 percent of student gets placement,my plan after getting degree from this college is do msc and have doctrate and then have a own centre so that I can earn well

First of all I like the curriculum of the college
The sports events conducted during the unifest
The cultural programmes are really mind-blowing

Dislikes

More clinical hours is very de motivating personally for me
And the other thing is they will more assignments
The percentages are not good enough which this university provides

The curriculum plan is tooo good....why I'm saying this is We are having clinical exposure since after 3 months from starting of the college..... Which makes u to gain good clinical exposure ever than any other college in around At the end of the course you are literally like 4 year experienced staff nurse

The most positive about the Apollo University is that the Apollo is a well professional well branded college the certificate value that holds by Apollo is commendable this is why I made my mind to join this college the negative side is the management
The campus life is fun if we are actively participating in programs conducted so social interaction is beneficial here, and the infrastructure of the college is very much standard condition.
The faculties here are very professional and well trained they provide all sorts of learning facilities and we have a central library with all sorts of academic related textbooks and question bank

Dislikes

Things I dislike here is the irresponsible management they won't provide proper systematic information related academics even If we have any complaints also no will respond properly.
There is lack of communication between the staff which will give us trouble as they will confuse us when we ask for about any fees or other college related queries all are irresponsible and they are not honest I am telling this my personal experience
Another important negative of this college or the management is that the allied health science my course and all have been started recently in 2021 so they are lacking quality of education here they are unaware about our subjects and intership

Course Curriculum Overview:

I wanted to become an mbbs doctor for which I 3 times still couldn't crack neet but my dream to work in medical field was not over so I chose md a course which is close to doctor and can do all the works of a doctor and nurse but under the the supervision of the senior physician, I won't say I am happy about it as its a developing course In India still it is unknown for soo many people which makes me regret my decision but my hope is abroad countries where this course have high scope. Here in this college we are having clinical practice in Government hospital which is very beneficial for getting job as the value of government hospital in our certificate is very high we are doing practical work in hospital which is preparing is for the real world application or further academic pursuits. These courses need to respected and given well training under the supervision of faculty here we are finding or doing work in hospital ourselves we are not provided proper guidance which is making us having waste of time,money , knowledge and skill we are not skilled as we are not provided guidance from hospital or college which is a sad part of this course. The timing of midterm is one hour and semester is 3 hours , semesters are very difficult mid terms are also difficult it varies all the time

Very good like going to clinicals everyday with frnds.

Dislikes

Due hours, writing work is so so worst and seminars and health talks, ward teaching, projects heavy work.

B.sc nursing is a 4 years course in the first year 9 subjects in sec year 7 subjects, in the third year 4 subjects, and in the fourth year 3 subjects. Faculties are more than 20 members almost ladies-only teaching is very good.

Over all institution make students a best citizen, doctors,

Course Curriculum Overview:

It was my dream to become a doctor it was more related to it so I choose it. Faculty are good per class it was 90 members, There is a ms and md professors and doctors are specialized. It was a final exam once a year it is somewhat difficult to get.

I like our hostel facilities very much and maintain always neet
Faculty supporting in our work and they teach us

Dislikes

They didn't allow out side for Hostel girls🥺
Some few times water problem may take place in Hostel
They didn't provide Holidays which means long leaves

Placement Experience:

Every year so many students got distinctions in our college. After this, They provide job facilities and mainly internships also provided in our college to improve work and Knowledge.95% of Students settled well in hospitals to their allotted job

I took this college over other colleges as this college is very old , built in 1946 year and it is very prestigious college. The batches who studied here , now they are in great positions and they are present in whole world not only India. By writing neet exam and securing good marks and percentage according to our cut off marks we will get a eligibility to join in MBBS course.Then after counseling we will be allotted a college in 1st round after that if we want to change we can change the college through 2nd phase or round counselling. From this year onwards our state government introducted the eligibility of the 3rd also. Then we have submit the particular documents, which are mentioned in allotment order to the college which we got.
